hey debb if its only happening when you put the top cap on have you tried oxidizing the entire wick? might help

I dont think the teflon tube should come out. Shoot Uwe a pm to see if he has someone in the US who could take a look at it or maybe replace it. I don't have the tools or expertise to repair something like that. I wish I could help you.

i got it back in...it seems to short when the wire is connected to both screws...if I take one end off...its good...

I was able to get one of these from Alexp... What a nice unit. The threading on the top tank cap for the 510 style tip was 10 thousandths too small so I ended up epoxying it in place. Other than that it works really well.

There made for 701s. You can buy an adapter somewhere to convert the 701 to a 510.

Got one from COS, thing looks ok, thread on top where mouth piece goes is stripped so mouthpiece comes loose. 510 connector center pin sticks out quite a bit, overall good work. Will mod the s out of it for sure lol.

Sorry I was talking about the adapter... the threading was right but the diameter of the adapter cap was cut 10ths too small. So I epoxied the adapter into the top tank.

Yeah I was surprised to see 6 pre-rolled mesh wicks... I also got 6 of the bottles, 3 of the 701 tips and the adapter for the 510 style tip. Good deal.

The threads on the glv are over size the whistle tips all strip easy. You can find the adptors at Vaporage.com 701 to 510
