I just saw there was a co-op for a 'ggts clone' -- wth is wrong with this place, just saying something is a copy is distasteful enough, calling it a clone without any forum backlash seems, I don't know, chickencrap..........and the damned things should be called imitations at best, the use of copy and clone is a misnomer and, in fact, untrue in every single instance....:2c:

Rant over.........

Stormys is selling an Ody imitation now. I guess I'll have to find a different reseller.

ahahaha, the "no copying" is the best part Mas
What a bargain! For a piece of crap chrome plated turd. I laughed when I looked at the picture and it says "Copyright of Kamry, no copying!" ROFL! Like they designed it or something. What a joke.

I bet you use a lot of China made stuff around your house mate, look around you :) bet you also use AW IMR batts as well. They are also made in China.
Don't get me wrong, I also against the copies, but what can you do? There are good stuff come from China and reasonable prices too. Like AW batts for instant.

Good luck with not buying anymore China products mate. Their products are everywhere around you.

That's it!!! no more china crap for me, whether clothes or tools or whatever!!!

Imeo, I read somewhere that you will put wings on Ithaka's tank and if so will it fit the Ody? It would be nice to have replacement tanks with wings on it for the UFS and Ody.

....

I would like nothing more than to never buy anything made in China, but they make EVERYTHING now, even "American" products. The world is pouring its money there! It's not healthy for a balanced world economy. Manufacturing jobs have all but disappeared in the US.

every telescope is a copy troll, its that simple.

I disagree, in that just because it telescopes doesn't mean it's a knock-off. Telescoping was exactly an unheard of concept before someone came up with a telescoping ecig. It's an obvious innovation. Like tanks or bigger batteries.
Granted, the EA mod is clearly a knock-off but it's a knock-off in its entirety. Not just because it 'scopes.

There is a lot of complaining about copies and I understand. If I made a device that was copied on the cheap, I might be mad. But these are "cheap" copies. Not the originals. I will *never* buy a GG. It's simply too expensive. Is it worth the money? Hell yes. It's a piece of excellence. Just like a Ferarri. I will never own either because I'm simply too poor. If someone released a GG knockoff. I might buy it but it would never be the same. If I could afford a GG, I wouldn't buy the knockoff just to be cheap. I'd buy the GG. Certainly the makers of the mods that are being copied are losing some income due to it but it really just adds to the exclusivity of the item.

hold a gg...use a gg...work with a gg...there is nothing else to do except admire and appreciate the gg...the functionality of gg is uncomparable... I prefer a non mechanical mod but I am very very picky on the rba that I use. I want my atty to have full flavor, vapor, and ease of use. gg is brilliant for this. the craftsmanship is uncomparable.

there is nothing obvious about the gg...the gg makes sense but not obvious in any way shape or form. complex and thoughtful design but user friendly.

here's the problem with innovations that are manufactured by the inventor...the innovator/inventor, spends a lifetime living, eating, breathing, new designs, new creations. countless hours are spent designing, redesigning, perfecting, testing, redesigning, testing, redesigning, testing, implementing...

very few take this into account when they see the prices of a product. most purchasers just see the bottom line, and that's whats coming out of their pocket.

most inventors get paid for their invention. Imeo takes everything he invents and then takes it farther and manufactures his inventions. now you have the brick and mortor, the utilities, the machines, the supplies, the employees, marketing, resellers, taxes, etc...etc...when it comes down to the profit margin for the inventor that manufactures his own invention compaired to the copy cat china-type based factories that produce in the masses, pay their employees barely anything, and produce hundreds upon hundreds of different inventions that they do NOT invent, who do you think has the higher profit margin?

its just food for thought.

all inventions are obvious my friend motel but only when someone invents them. Nothing is obvious before the invention. Copying a feature make you a copier. Its so simple and I am wondering why some people disagree with it.

We agree on that Capt. If copiers said that their e-cig is a GGTS copy or if they say that they used a GG series feature then I wouldnt care much. But trying to serve a product as unique when someone else found it first its simple silly and people have to not pay attention to people like this.
This horse has been beaten to death and then some. It's a fact of life that every successful product will be copied, imitated and blatantly stolen. Whatever we do and say it won't change that.

Its not simple food for thought, its just the truth based on facts jojo my dear. Thanks for saying so obvious things that people cant see in first place.
