Good Mornin/Eve Tree Folk.
On the road again this mornin ..so radio silence to be expected until perhaps this eve.
@Amlowe ...My Mom was in a very similar situation as your Grandma not that long ago...We didn't know what would happen...Like your Grandma, she also came out of it..and to many of us, it was nothing short of a miracle...I do believe in miracles...and I do believe in the power of prayer. Enjoy your Grandma while you can. Hugs your way (..and sending you Love and Light to help you find your way...)

We had to stop dead in the road last night becuz there was what I thot was a CAT ..just sitting there in the middle of the lane..up in the mountains..blind curves ...nighttime...2 lane highway.
My traveling companion said "NO..It's an OWL (and A BIG one at that!!) ..and it's sitting on its prey".
I looked behind us and saw headlights on the grade not that far behind us ..so I jumped out of the truck, waving my arms and hollering and the owl tried to fly away with the dead rabbit, but dropped it on the shoulder and then flew away. Whew.
My friend pulled the truck off the road and the other car passed us as I was walking back to our truck..He was probably thinking "What an idiot!!." Prob thot I was some headcase who flipped out, started walking on the road ..and then came to my senses.......yeah...That's it.

Wifey wants a flower garden so I'm digging up a area that's boxed in at the front of our house about 40" x 15'. I've been digging up the weeds and the grass all morning with a little hand trowel because I can't find our shovel, must've left it when we moved.

Good noonish, everyone! Tootsdaze... cold and foggy out there, but I gotta go get wheat for the chickens (that's why chicks love me, Robin) and cut some more dead trees before the weather dude says snow is coming. Lannie started burning it yesterday, so I can't fall behind.

My Lannie... maybe I luvs her 'cuz she's as crazy as me about hanging out on dangerous rocks to get a better picture. One slip and it's about 1,000 feet straight down to that lake.

I really hate seeing Christmas stuff on sale before Halloween even gets here.

At Costco, they have the Halloween costumes right next to the artificial Christmas trees.

Just a note that I am home safe and..well..almost sound ..I only had to dodge 2 small herds of pronghorn crossing the road...There is a reason, besides my worsening eyesight that I don't like travelling the roads at night..and it is wildlife. btw..espec' at night, I do use the "kritter plow" (shields up) whenever possible @liblue1 and @Fuzzy Thunderbear ..and much like you,Fuzzy...I ask for safe passage..Besides being desolate..and much of it with no cell signal...These are all Ancient and Native Lands I pass thru.

10/27 - 4: Interesting day at work, and the wasps were back in greater force, was truly horrifying at times. Hitting you in the face, arms, legs, chest; landing on you. Open a door and there are 20 or more waiting to come in. Man I can't wait for this job to be done.

10/27 - 5: Electrician. I am not scared of them, just do not like being stung. I have been hit by wasps and it feels no good, but a mud dabber hurts much worse. Home made burgers for dinner, and left overs for lunch tomorrow. Has been a while and sounds/smells good.

My dad was an electrician but he worked in the textile plant here. I know what you mean about being stung. I was stung close to 25 times by yellow jackets when I was a child. Now I'm allergic to their stings.
