This worked until yesterday when a crack made it all the way to the bottom. I have since tried clear nail polish and put the vinyl back on that one and will test it at a later date. And yes, I AM THAT cheap.
Did you just coat the outside, or did you hit the inside too?

yes 34G is the only thing I can get to work. 36 always tempts me but leads to unpredictable results, e.g. 7 coils giving me 3.5 ohms and then 5 coils giving me 1.5 lol

perhaps that 3/8" you speak of explains the difference + maybe your wraps are tighter than mine

Yes 80. You using 34ga?

1 1/2" will give you 2 ohms...unless your adding resistance at the connection point.

Also, without the 0 resistance twisted on, there is about 3/8" of coil wire that is wasted to make the connection between the coil and silicone seat.

vision ego clearomizers has a version 3 with long wicks like a regular clearomizer and with
stronger tubes. I've only seen them on a china site but someone will carry them soon.
Now if they'd just make them out of a crack proof material. Pyrex, or similar, would be nice. Probably nice & expensive though.

Hey Robbie, Great tutorial!!! I did some more research on this and actually found another material to wick with. Stainless Steel Mesh... I haven't tried either of these yet but wanted to see if you had any insight on the other method. Here is the link to it:

Vision Ego Clearomizer / Stardust Atomizer - Ss Mesh Wick Making Tutorial - UK Vapers

Also, i have heard that some CE4's are actually glued at the bottom. If so, do you have any suggestions on how to loosen it up so that they can be taken off?

Thanks for all your help man. Its greatly appreciated

just had a 1 day old stardust literally fall apart in my hands. Dont put in Ms T's Cinnamon Roll into a Stardust, this stuff tastes awsome, but it doesnt play well with the stardust itself. I was afraid to put it into a regular DCC tank, so I'm just dripping it now.

It must be something in the cinnamon flavorings, I had a regular clearo do the same thing
with my DIY cinnamon roll.
