Do you guys think these builds will work well on the heron? I don't have it yet but I'm so excited to get it i wanted to have everything ready to go haha, let me know what you think

Here I built with loops. Adjusted them when complete to mate with fluff without excess.

EDIT - Not sure what gauge wire you have there but appears your ohms will be in the mid to high twos.
1.5 to 2.0 seems to be ideal flavor and vapor range.
Make sure your tails extend from the bottom of the wick as they will be much easier to install and adjust. Good luck.

Hmm, I think you may have to make them a tad smaller and they will be fine :)

its 28g, and i use the same type of coils in my kayfun lite and get around 1.2ohms which is what i prefer

They are pretty small... a tad larger then the diameter of my finger, i think they just look a lot bigger in the picture and the way it was taken

How about now? Look a little smaller?

You need smaller loops, preferable a single one or a thinner wick to avoid flooding the deck due to over-wicking, less is more in that case :)

so technically i could just have 1 loop coming up into the fluff? I just went by the other build pictures and it showed that he used loops about the size of the end of your finger, which is the size they are

Using .30ga 7/8 wrap on 1/16 micro jig with SnC cotton. I originally built the coils vertically. I decided to slant the coils ever so slight to "aim" the wicks towards the wick hole in the cap. The wicks fit perfectly through the top cap without choking them or too much "room"
Here are a few pics and I will not put this down for days. Perfect heat, great GVC flavor and good times.

It absolutely wicks and is my best build. The juice transfer from the fluff to the wick is incredible from the Heron.

I left 1 cm on each laying on the deck to soak every drop!
