Ok...just hang him after he sends my screws...;)

Seriously, I bought this from vapourart, but I think if would be cheaper for you to have Domo send them to me...shall I ask Blake?

If you bought it from us you can send an email to info@vapourart.com referring your order number please. You can ask our American reseller as well, whatever you like. I'll hang him after we solve this issue.

Gurgling or condensation inside the bell: Over wicking or filler material too much close to the lips of the bell can usually cause that combined with a chain vaping style. Push the filler a bit downwards and blow through the air vents to get rid of the excessive liquid gathered in the bell or blow through the bottom part of the body to drive the condensation out via the drip tip. Check you filler and wick too. Moreover, when the battery is weak in relation to the resistance, the vaporisation is done partially and condensation is gathered into the bell.

The topper is not necessary in the silica builds, because you have to be very careful about the thickness of your wick, while a simple loop makes the job easy. It is an extra accessory for certain cotton builds, not all.

So do you think the 2 loops will cause over wicking? Will 1 loop touching the fluff be a better idea? or is it trial and error

Exactly. No atty is perfect (the Spheroid is SUPER close though) and every one of them has quirks. Some of those quirks go away with knowledge and others you learn to live with. The small bit of very occasional gurgle from the juice / condensation is easily over looked for me. When it does happen it takes mere seconds to deal with.

How do you go about dealing with it

Ya you saw my coils i made for the heron, the loops diameter is like the diameter of the tip of my pinky finger..

I think we have discussed this before and I haven't any new info to add. I still have the impression that one loop is enough though.

My Heron was going smoothly for my first build for the first hour, then started gurgling. So I ripped it all apart and rebuilt, using 65mm fluff this time.

I've used silica, SnC yarn, and cotton balls....with and without the cap for all of these....and I can not for the life of me get this thing to keep up with wicking. I end up with a burnt hit every time. After about 15 builds last night, I gave it a break. Hopefully today I can get her back up and running. I really wanted to show it off at work today too!

I'm determined to conquer this thing! lol

Odd, I am using 5" (127mm) of fluff and have no problems with wicking - seven wrap of 27g wire around a 5/64 bit on cotton. Three tanks and no dry hits.

Clarification - this is with GVC @ 50/50 so the ejuice is not very thick.

Did you pull your sheet in half so it's thinner? I couldn't see how one would cram much more than the 65mm I use ??

When you have a new RBA you may expect many things to happen till you tame it, because it is a new rebuildable atomizer. I haven't found a RBA totally care free the last 3 years I vape and I have tried many.

I have found the device you speak of. For me it is the standard DID. It has been the most trouble free, best performing RBA I've ever owned so far. I could go on and on about it and my affinity for genesis atties. :)

I remain hopeful that Heron will influence me well and become a favorite as I have been anticipating this device for a long time as some of you may know. I'm so excited for this because I have never been able to use my SnP tank yet. :( The damn Diver v2 is my Achilles Heel. So I'll be happy to put my Lux's back in my daily rotation again!

I couldn't make the Diver work either, nor the Sophia...it makes me feel better to know that someone who has no trouble with Gennies (i.e., someone who's very talented) had the same issue as me.

Unfortunately, I cannot stand the taste of the iron that most genisis atties produce (I have a very sensitive taste), the hot vapour and the cooked liquid after 2 days of vaping. My first genesis was an Orion and a Line. I have tried the DID, and a bunch of other genisis, like Hellfire, Fogatti, etc, but too much hassle for me comparing with silica and cotton builds. I like the quick setups, but this is just my opinion. Taste is subjective!

If you liked the Spheroid, Heron will impress you, but if you prefer genisis atties, Heron is different :)

Here is what is left of the fluff that came with the Heron.

Fluff after an hour of light vaping. I tried to add fluid at this point and wouldn't take 1ml and vaping nicely.

I am with you on the genisis devices..... The only one I own is a Kraken and that runs dual micro coils with cotton wicks - incredible flavor from this combo. Doesn't hurt it looks beautiful on an X.

I never owned a Spheroid, but I always wanted one. I just didn't want a 16mm RBA. I remember suggesting a 22mm Spheroid many months before you publicized the design for the Heron. I'm really excited about this vape mail. This is ranking up there in epic-ness with my ELA vape mail! ;)

Oh and yeah, when I can find the time (I'm moving next month so I'm slammed right now) I plan on doing a chemical patina on one of my Lux's. King P, IDbro, Q and the rest of the family, please keep prodding me to NOT forget to do this. The approach I'm taking should yield a marble like patina. It's very exciting but a smelly process!

I am really sorry for this poor quality control on behalf of our company. I will hang Miro tomorrow, this is wrong ...

Don't hang him. We and you still need him :D A public whipping will do :D joke
But seriously, as you said before, this pre-order trial was very hectic and nerve-wrecking for you and your team, so, it's understandable. You will always have issues, every business operation does, especially with new products, it's how you correct them, that's what's important. And we all know that you and your team are excellent at correcting any and all problems :)
