I received my Herons and Paps V3 last week while I was away but managed to pick them up in the office over the weekend. Built both of my Herons with not-so-micro (2.2mm 7/8 wraps of 28awg) coil and organic cotton ball wick. I managed to get about 4mm of juice(incluidng one buld of Grant's VC) with the filler material provided. It seems to vape nicely with great flavor. I didn't notice the gurgling but did notice intense juice taste in my mouth (condensation?) on some hits.

My wish list is 510 connector (easier to test the ohm of the build) and alum brass tube for the Heron (I think that would look great with my new Lux tube).

510 connector is coming soon, but we won't make an aluminium bronze tube for Heron, it might give an extra taste to your juice, you won't like this recipe

How about a sleeve over SS to give it that gold look? I don't know anything about metallurgy to know whether two can bond or not.

We love the design principle "form follows function", so we need to find a task for that sleeve except of being decorative and thin sleeves are fragile. Gold plating of the body will wear out and golden Titanium nitride coating has a cheap look in my opinion. For the time being Heron will remain as it is now.

You will offer the 510 conection as the same way that the first owners the update of Heron?

The 510 for the Heron will just screw on/in to the bottom much like a Spheroid base , so all owners past and future will be able to purchase it.

No, my friend. It's a different connection, and it's not necessary for a proper function, it adds 6 mm length as well.

Should have my Heron today. It was 50 miles north of me this morning. No DHL yet.

I think the primary use of my Heron 510 connector will be during the building process so I can use a 510 resistance checker both to easily check the resistance and build while using it as a stand. After that's done the gpin will go back in.

This atty is absolutely awesome. Here is how i set up mine. Used enough fluff to go around the post 1.5 times. 5/6 strands of 1mm silica yarn. 5 loops with .5 flat then trimmed the ends to fit. Juiced fluff, maybe 3.5 mls, pointed the silica up and closed cap. So far very good, 1st tank had a slight gurgle. 2nd tank none.

Received my Heron today. Beautiful!! Easy setup.... got it the first time, sans one coil adjustment as I had a coil touching a screw.

I do; however, get gurgling. Not sure why just yet. I assume some juice or condensation is hanging out at the bell, because I'm using silica double loops without use of the cotton topper.

Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but did I read that there is a fix for the gurgling, or should I try other things?

Yeah, a couple of pages back Perseas explains it all.

He'll be shipping out new bells for the initial buyers. There is also a fix you can do yourself if you have the expertise/equipment, but I'd suggest waiting on him to send out the new bell

As I am not a throat hit sort of fellow.... Should I be orienting my coil closer to the air hole? I really don't get throat hit anyways being that I vape 6mg (or less)

By the way, been vaping a GVC clone and for half the price, its pretty darn fantastic!
