Note - (I wrote this one in pen :)) - Do NOT by any stretch of the imagination or out of sheer boredom vape using cotton balls still attached to a male rabbit.
I surprisingly have been pretty good about this ^.

I don't see many rabbits around, so it's never crossed my mind, but thank you for the tip.

He thinks I'm an ........ He's like that. :)

split series with the O's. It's early enough to get a starter and closer in the rotation at some point. Douche.

Always a pleasure to help where I can :).

Nice. At first, you will be looking all over for small things to clean.
I most everything in mine including steep juice much like Akdare.
Even the Lux tubes might see it. Will not remove patina but the threads need it.
Sometimes I use straight alcohol when buying used and rinse thorough There are plenty of solvents and Dawn dish soap works well. Some transducers may be damaged with just H2O so be careful.

oh! no o-rings hmm? Good thing I asked...

Are anodized parts okay? like a microstick?

Absolutely are. MS are more of an hard acrylic wrinkle but fine. Even anodized tubes are good. Springs and posts/post screws are the best. They find less carpet when not cleaning them in ones lap.

Dear GP family,

I have had my Heron for a while now and I am very very happy with it. I have it as my go-to atty together with the Paps 3 - a lovely combination.

Now, a couple of gripes (first world problems, really) I haven't been able to solve:

a) no matter how I build the Heron (I have tried most of the builds suggested on the thread, currently using the flat kanthal "tape" wire supplied with the atty pack with a cotton build) on the draw I have a slight whistling noise. Nothing too serious, but is anybody else experiencing it? I have installed the new bell. I have experienced with the AFC and it doesn't seem to make a difference (except for tightening up the draw of course). It's not terrible, but maybe there is a fix?

b) There is a tiny gap between the tank cover and the atomizer base, see picture.
heron_closeup.jpg.
Again, it is small, and I await being shouted at for OCD issues :D. If I squish the top down, then it closes, but it pops up again to form the small gap. Any ideas, do I need to wait for the Orings to settle more?

c) Not for the family, but for King P: Looking at the rest of the thread, I think I should at least have had one longer GPin top. (I had two of the same length with my order of Paps3 and Heron). In hybrid mode it's no problem to make contact with AW18490s, but in 510 Mode I have some rattle. I guess I could add one in the comments for my next order?

Thanks for your help!

Have you tried raising or lowering your coils to see if that helps with the whistle? I have not experienced any whistling on my Heron.
