That was good one Avid, funny!!
Could someone direct me to the spreadsheet for logging the Herons, I cannot seem to find it. My order arrived today and my second Heron #0587 reporting in for duty!

Wow you guys, I am blown away. As you may recall I had some shorting issues with one of my new Herons that I got from Domo. I had mentioned that Blake told me to simply mail the defective Heron back to him and that he'd send me a new one. So I mailed out the suspect Heron back to Domo today. I figured I'd have the new one by early next week sometime.

As if that was not awesome enough, I just got another email from Blake. He told me that he has already shipped me out a replacement Heron, and not to worry about when the suspect one makes it back to him!!

So basically he took me at my word not only for the initial issue, but also for me sending the defective Heron back to him!! I just sent him a big long email thanking him profusely. I have NEVER dealt with a vape-related company (except for VA, of course) that treated its customers like this!!

BIG shout-out to Blake at Domo!!

I ordered all of our spheroids from domo a few months ago. And of course because I saw them in stock I didn't even read the description. We ordered a couple extra forks. Blake proactively reached out to US to say "in case you didn't know, a fork comes with". After an exchange he simply refunded the money. So yes. This is the perfect reseller for GP in the US.

As for forks? I now have enough forks to leave 2 in each room.

Speaking of "forks" Ive started "studying the X" in my preparations for its arrival. ( when are Vapor Days?) I see that the X also uses a fork. Is there a video on total breakdown and assembly of the X? Not that I want to start fiddling with it when I get it, but eventually ( hopefully not for at least a month ) I will have to do some cleaning/ maintenance. I want to be educated.:)

All my VA goodies were just delivered :) I need to remember to get the order shipped to my office next time and not my apartment. The rest of the day is going to be miserable having to wait and I only ordered some X parts.... If I had a mod waiting I would have to spontaneously get food poisoning and go home....

P can step in and correct me here, but I'm pretty sure the next Vapourday will be for the X Ti only. If you're after a SS or Lux X, I think you need to wait for the Vapourday AFTER the next one.

Here's a good review of the X showing a breakdown of all the bits. Funny couple of guys too!

P said that the next Vapor Day with the regular (non TI) stock is in July.

Thanks Yankeebro!
I was rinsing and cleaning my new heron along with the new 510 adaptor and noticed a single "thin" oring laying in the bottom of the bowl! I cannot figure out where this goes. This is not a spare oring as I only took part the Heron and I must have removed this oring when cleaning one of the parts in the bowl!! Please help as I know it goes somewhere, possibly the 510 adaptor??

I believe Domo will have both ssX and lux X tomorrow at 10am Pst. If you didn't want to wait for next Vapourday at VA.

Do you now have 2 rings on the base (1 under the AFC ring and one around the deck) and 2 rings on the metal ring that you screw onto the base?

LOL, I saw that and found it very , very good. At the first few seconds of viewing I thought its Silent Bob and Pete Townsend. I really liked them after a few minutes. "Pete" is hilarious and his narration during the breakdown reminded me of those Nature documentaries with The Atkinson guy. THen "Silent Bobs" comments and facial expression were just so cute. Thanks........ Love it.

It was that specific video that made me begin searching for a Paps X. The guy on the right, I think his name is Damien. I wish I lived in England so I could go out drinking with him for a night, lol, I think I'd be in stitches the whole time.

They do a fantastic job of selling the X. And unless you have different brands of batteries, you can totally ignore the part about changing out the GPin. I use AW IMRs exclusively, and have never needed to change the pin size.

Yes, they are there as well as the thick oring at top cap. I took my other Heron apart and can't see any orings missing. I am wondering if it was inside the 510 adaptor? It definitely belongs somewhere as it came off and was laying in the bottom of the bowl. There is a small space beneath the AFC close to the top of the threads, could it go there?
Thanks for your questions!

My 510 Connectors did not come with any o-rings installed or otherwise.

There's no o-ring in the 510 adapter and no o-ring below the afc ring (there's one under it to control the twisting of the afc). If you have 4 rings on the base and the one on the bell, there are no others..... it's a mystery.
