I don't know why I keep buying more mods.
The only ones I use is my Paps V3 650 lux and Turtleship, but I do.
Today was a X Lux and V3 Lux day.

Wow. Seems like quite the day in here folks! I'm on restriction currently so no participation for me. I did browse the site for a bit though. Glad everyone got most of what they wanted. And this GVC scare is sad. I'm glad I have 1 remaining well steeped 100ml. Whew. P, the Lux X looks divine. Great job as always!

Oh wow, heya! I'm the guy who comes in always asking for the 100ml bottles of Moonglow that you guys don't sell.
...and walking out with 70ml's in a bunch a little bottles
I was actually planning on stopping by this weekend to see if you guys would drill out my Versa dripper a bit and pick up some more Glow.
Liam is the only guy there that I know by name and he always takes care of me.

I had ask the below questions earlier in the day when things were really moving on!! I have the Paps v3 from previous vapourday and ordered another v3 switch today, hooray!! But since I don't have the papsX, is it a better or more expensive mod since the switch is actually more expensive than the v3 switch. Just curious because the v3 is just awesome and I'm curious because of the cost difference if the X is better made or what is the cost difference in the 2 switches??

Also, are the Paps v3 switches that will ship have the minor changes that P spoke of earlier...more rounded edges?

No worries bro, thankfully your labels peel off easily and don't leave residue so I'm pretty set for small bottles now tyvm
I just transfer them all to a bigger glass bottle anyways.

Funny, a member on another thread said it was too pricey. It was sorted quickly when explained and compared to others. It is honestly the best shipping for us in the vaping world. Truth.

I think one determines which mod (X or V3) is better through personal preference. I have both and love both each for their own qualities. They definitely have a different feel and personality. The V3 is sleek and lighter, more elegant in a manner of speaking. The X feels more sturdy and is a tried and true workhorse in my collection. I'm sure there may be different reasons for the X and it's switch being more expensive that would be better addressed and answered by P himself. I can think of one reason for the increased price is that you get an all in one mod with the X; the ability to modify it to any battery size with or without a kick. With the V3, each additional tube tacks onto the final price.

On another note brother...I'm puzzled why Apple is spending 4+ billion on Dr Dre beats. It is a used product of HTC for 3-4 years. Why not get into cahoots with Monster for a fraction?

My first non purchase on vapourday for a while. I almost snagged another switch and a heron base, which would've given me another paps heron set up. Would just have to use glass for one of the tanks.

I was really hoping for the 510 adapter too. That's going to look great on a Provari v3 when that gets released finally.

I guess it's about marketing. Beats has a better name in the headphones market than monster does. Even though monster been in the audio industry for years the Beats and Apple brand is what sells. It's a smart move by Apple IMO and that's what Apple is best at, Marketing.

When I take the train every morning for work majority of folks are using beats headphones. The majority of people out there don't even realize that they are made by monster. To have the Apple brand alongside beats will be a huge marketing strategy and they'll make their money back and then some real quick.

There are many reasons why this might be happening. Neither company has confirmed the purchase.

The next big thing is going to be 'wearables' and even though they are just headphones it's one more thing you can wear that Apple owns.

One of Apple's weakest demographics where Android has near complete dominance is male African Americans, this purchase might , just maybe , get them some market share in that demographic.

Apple has been trying to get a streaming service going to compete with Spotify and RDIO for a while now , but the challenge is that the music industry doesn't want to give them the rights. Even though Apple is the largest music retailer in the world the labels do regret giving them so much power and influence. The don't want Apple to gain the same dominance in the streaming space. Having said that the rumour is that the streaming rights that Beats have for their new music service are transferable to a parent company if they happen to be purchased. If that's true then that is a huge deal because Apple doesn't have to negotiate with the with the labels anymore.

That leads in to the next point , Apple gets a great negotiator with the labels when Jimmy Iovine joins the company , presumably being put in charge of the iTunes Store and all of their content deals. Iovine has been involved in the industry since 1973 and is very highly respected and has a lot of friends in very high places inside the industry.
