Hey buddy! Are you talking about the silver plated?

They are under production. I sent our prototypes to Sofia yesterday for minor corrections. A little patience and when they are ready, I'll post photos.

Hi buddy! Did you receive 2 LUX GPins with similar short pins? Haven't the same lengths with the brass GPin's pins ? The Heron GPin has longer pin due to 201 connection.

I ordered a few Lux GPins, and all of them came with a 'short' and 'long' pin. The 'long' pin works flawlessly in the Heron.

On a related note, after experimenting with the Heron 510 adapter on the X, I am now back to the X Converter / Lux GPin setup. Just seems to be a better vape for me. YMMV, of course.

Thanks for the responses!

I should clarify... yes, I was asking about the silver plated pins. When I said "long pin" I should have mentioned that I was asking about a silver plated long pin for the Heron.

The "long pin"included with the lux gpin will fire with my Heron but isn't quite long enough to stop the battery rattle when using AW 18490s.

I just received my Heron SS positive contacts (thank you P!!!), Heron 510 adapter, LUX Heron afc, silver plated m4 screws my v3 switches, and single GP holster... like two minutes ago. Yay!

That's strange because I only use AW IMR 18490s also, and the 'long' silver-plated Lux pin fits perfectly. I feel a slight resistance, then another half turn and it screws on flush and tight, with no rattle.

Hmm ... not sure what the issue could be, good thing there's tons of experts here.

Edit: I should clarify, this is with the Paps X and X Converter Ring, not a Paps v2.5/v3.

What's the benefit of the c converter? Sorry just wondering I'm a little lost with it

Do you use the lux gpin with a Heron? Maybe my current battery is off-spec. I'll have to check with my other batteries...

We haven't produced silver plated pins for the Heron to keep cost down, because I don't know the demand for something like that.

If there is enough demand to produce them, put me down for 3. :)

And if we're counting to figure out if there's a demand... +3! :)

Yep, I just use the Lux GPin (not the Heron GPin). But just the pin and collar, the rest (insulator and SS Heron flat 'plate' on the inside) needs to stay. Hope that makes sense.

There is no issue, Cliffy used the pins of the LUX GPin to Heron GPin, because he wanted to have silver plated pins, but the pins of Heron are different from the ones of X/v3 due to 201 connection.

Yeah, that's what I did too. I used the normal Heron GPin assembly, but just replaced the pin and collar with the Lux version, not the rest. Here's what I mean.

hmm.... up until today I've been using the Heron all-brass gpin. maybe there's a slight difference with the ss plate contact (which received today). I'll have to try again when I get home.

So here's a funny thing.I don't know how I ended up this way...I think I was trying to make sure I didn't drop my brand new lux afc. I do!

edit: btw... although I bought the lux afc ring to accent my heron and ss paps v3, I just realized that it's a good way to differentiate between the two Heron builds that I use daily. One with lux afc one with ss afc...

His order will be canceled and refunded.

Speaking of purchasing... Will adding an item to the cart secure you the item or is there still a potential of losing the sale during the checkout process?

I want to make sure what measures I need to put in place to keep yankee from stealing mine.

I tried this but it didn't feel snug enough like the whole GPin was wobbly.

+10000000 though for silver Heron GPin.

The pin due to it's length will feel a bit less secure but, is a perfect solution. Ask me how I know!

I have had my GPins in every possible configuration and used them hard with no issues whatsoever!

Sounds good to me. Looks like I'll be putting that bad boy back in then.
