Although I don't have one or really want one at this moment, I do love how the Heron 510 adapter doesn't add any length to the atty. Unlike "ahem" "cough" some modders that just have a screw-on piece of junk that makes it 3 inches longer. When it comes to my attys that's not good lol!
Well done GP. I would say I was surprised but you guys just produce excellence in everything you do!

I posted this some time ago. Figured some have joined the family and may not know this.

I guess Jojobo is his private "fluffier"

All this GPin talk reminded me...I have another shipment of fluff for those that may be in need of a bit more or forgot to order :)
Perseas was also good to send a few GPins for those that may also be in need! I only have the longer ones left as I have sent a few already to some on another forum and here.
A few months back P sent me a PnB tool or two as I gave a couple away. I seem to have two in use right now and this one is from Perseas, I think he would like me to pass it on to someone that will truly use it and has the tools. I a bit ago gave one out to a fantastic Fam member and I know he's used it. The 3rd pm I get on wanting it will get it!
Anyway, let me know by pm if you need the GPins or some fluff. I will get it out within a couple of days :). All I ask is that you PM Perseas with a thank you :). This is all him!

PS - the GPins will come in a 24" x 24" box using 3 rolls of duct tape to secure as the postal employees seem to like to dig them out of envelopes and steal them for some reason. I have been sent pictures of empty envelopes with a small hole dug out all the way through plastic....seriously :)

Enjoy!

My X switch is kinda sticking, clicking etc. Also I couldn't spin it to lock without some force.

Maybe a bit of dust or lint.
Any pictorials or a walk through on disassembly or cleaning tips.

Usually that means that the locking ring inside needs to be backed out a smidge. Just did that the other day. Just take the screw off, you will notice there is a squared ring that is under the vent holes of the switch. It spins back and forth. First, tighten it up, then back it out a hair and leave it there. Clean everything first with a brush and soapy water. Put it back together. Should be good to go. As smooth and as amazing the switch is it's actually pretty easy to clean and adjust.

Well if P liked it that's good enough for me. Thanks Woody.

It started yesterday where it wouldn't fire unless I pressed dead center. Any lateral pressure and it would stick. Then it started squeaking, then clicking then stuck.

Will disassemble and clean and adjust the lock ring as you suggested and report back.

If you have any problems PM me. I'll get mine apart and get a pic journal together for you. I know it might "read" a little weird. I'm pretty sure it's that locking nut section that needs adjusting.
Also, the clicky stuff might happen if the negative screw isn't tightened down fully after switch is assembled. Make sure the switch is unlocked, place it on a table and give a little extra oomph when you tighten her back up.

Best answer ever Woods. Nothing like a clean switch.

The only thing I would add is too make sure every crevice is dry in the internal housing. Otherwise you will show a short on your switch screw in the form of a black mark. The nano water drop will remind you how conductive water is :). A white eraser will remove the marks on your screw and negative battery post.

I can attest to this. If you think all is dry, dry it again. :)

Thanks brother! I'll shoot you my email also for any shipping fees thanks Chris!

He won't accept. Many have tried, but he refuses. He's just that kinda guy! ;) Note: He really likes socks though.

WHen I got my shipping notice today, I thought: that was fast......... Then I figured, most likely the label was generated and that it probably would not actually leave till later weds( today ) I just checked for the heck of it, and damn if its already left Oregon and going down the coast to S. Calif.

This was a bit surprising considering my past purchases from another company ;) Im crossing my fingers it will arrive by Thurs.

Blake ships his wares super fast as does P and the boys at Vapour Art. Quite likely you'll be enjoying that new X by this weekend

I dealt with this same issue yesterday. The switch just wasn't as good as my friend's switch when I got my X. I figured it needed a spring change. I changed the spring and then I couldn't lock/unlock the thing. Took it apart again and put it back together. Same thing. Then backed it off until I could spin the lock, and retighted the screw... presto worked great. Until it locked up again. Repeated that process and it's working. I still need to clean it all, though.
