Path. I certainly hope all goes well. Would it happen to the monitor of the "take home" variety?
At about 25, I went to donate blood. They wouldn't take it as they discovered an irregular heartbeat. I wore a halter for 24 hours and now have EKG added to my annual visits to my doctor. The last almost 20 years, I've lived with only an inconvenience of having an extra 5 minutes added to my routine once a year. I certainly hope you're in a similar boat, or even a "false alarm".

As for meds, believe me. I've been there. Migranes every 2 weeks, imitrix to calm them. Hearburn and acid reflux. Meds to calm them. Even cholesterol 2x per day. In 2009, I got laid off from a very stressful job....one I grew to hate. NOT coincidentally, I have had maybe 1 real migraine per year since then compared to likely 20 per year during those days. I'm off the migrain meds. My wife and I have changed our diet routine. Sometimes it's not what we eat, but how we prepare and how much we eat. It may not be the spaghetti sauce, but how it's prepared. She makes delish soups and sauces that I can eat bowls of that won't affect me the way 2 tablespoons of Ragu would. Again - one example.

Perseas is 150% right. It's a lifestyle change. Different foods, healther versions of foods you love, and portion control.

Edit: and yes, I'm off the heartburn meds too. Although I keep some handy for those rare occasions and accidents.

While I agree with Perseas on lifestyle changes being the #1 cause for relief, in my case, this did not help for heartburn. I produce too much stomach acid. The first thing the doctors did was put me on a strict diet for the better part of a year with no change. They then decided to (finally) scope me, and found what the cause was. I don't remember what they are called, but the 'ducts' that produce stomach acid to break down your foods 'overshoot' the acid in my stomach, which caused ulcers and bad acid reflux. I was put on Nexium and it fixed the problem, but is something that I will have to continue to take for the rest of my life unless my body chemistry changes and regulates out.

As far as the heart issues and migraines go...I'm thinking they're related to one another. I started getting the migraines around the same time my heart started to act weird. I don't know that they are related, but I have a 'hunch'. I work in a relatively stress-free job (because I like the work) and I work with people that I genuinely like. My home life is fantastic as well. So I live a pretty stress-free lifestyle that I am very grateful for and very fortunate to have.

Hopefully, like you, it is something that can be regulated and surgery or something is not involved. I've been 'under the knife' enough for a lifetime. I'd really like to think its a 'false alarm'. That's why it took me so long to finally get it looked at (which was stupid..I know.). I figured it would just 'go away' :p. But even as I type this, I can tell something isn't right. It just feels like its 'chugging' in my chest, so I know there is most likely something wrong that will need fixed one way or another.

Thank you all for the well wishes! I'll keep you all posted! You're a wonderful family!

White House weakened draft of FDA's proposed tobacco regulations | Reuters

I read an article about that yesterday. I thought it is interesting because I was following the fda's efforts towards regulations since last year. I personally chuckled when I read what the white house did...

Good Morning fellow GP'ers!! :)

haven't been here since yesterday afternoon, so I have some catching up to do!! :D

I just wanted to say that you guys were absolutely right. Dripping GVC on a low-ohm build is NOT optimal. Last night, I put a 1.2 Ohm Eco-Wool build in my new Prometey, and proceeded to load it up with GVC. Straight away I noticed that the flavor was sweeter, and the custard notes were definitely enhanced. IMO GVC tastes excellent anyway, but I can now see why Grant himself recommends what he does...

The Prometey is no Heron, but it's a great atty in its own right. Definitely a whole different "feel" than vaping with the Heron. For starters, the thing is so light!! I mean it feels like there's nothing to it (that's due to the Ti). It doesn't even feel like there's an atty on top of my mod!! lol....but it vapes very nice. I have mine setup with 3mm Eco-Wool formed into a "Loop", and 28ga. Kanthal. I am using GP Fluff as filler....

All in all I am SO happy that you guys steered me away from dripping GVC!! Thanks very much for the tips!!! :)

Ah yes! Very very nice. Glad you're seeing the light! It doesn't sound like much when people suggest it, but how's it go? A million other people can't be wrong? Yeah that's it.
There is truly a huge difference in GVC with higher ohms.

Just saw that Polished Spheroids are still in stock at VA, so I decided to pick one up! :)

This'll be my 3rd Spheroid. I have 2 brushed SS ones that I use daily....I am just so in love with this particular atty that I feel like I can never have too many! haha....

Blake still has brushed in stock also.

Yeah I saw that. I already have 2 brushed ones so I figured I'd mix it up!! :)

Just thought I should let everyone know what a great guy JP is. He sent me some of his precious last bit of GVC, simply because I've never tried it! And he had it in the mail to me BEFORE Grant announced his sale, which makes the gesture that much more generous to me.

I'm currently chain vaping my Spheroid just to empty it so I can refill it with the GVC, lol.

Thanks again buddy! I owe you one. Will let you know later how it is, but it smells out of this world.

Finally a heron is in my possession! Well almost.... It is sitting in my mailbox waiting. Managed to trade some of my older GP gear for a brand new heron with Lux AFC and 510 adapter + fluff and spares. Quite excited to put it on top of my X when I get home. Need to decide on a build for it now!

Hellooooooo, GP Family :D

Went to the doctor yesterday because I've been having some weird heart issues. He thought maybe it was blood pressure from the last visit I had with him, but now he's thinking that's not it. So now I get to go do a wonderful(sarcasm) 24-hour heart monitoring echo test thingy.

I swear I can't catch a break lol. I'm 24 for crying out loud! I've had more surgeries and medical issues than most elderly people..

Here's to hoping nothing is wrong with me and that they'll let me vape while I'm there, and that this is the last time I have to stay in a freaking hospital.
You are in our home prayers, Path. May God protect you and comfort you.

Yep, nice guy that Idaho....anyone who willingly distributes Fluff & Gpins all in the name of GP fun is a winner in my book!! :D
