The other thing with cleaners and polish is when you apply the polish, work it like normal. Then a nice rinse with water and soap and then water. Those polished mods don't leave that "scent" on your hands. Then just dry it well. Just a method I use when cleaning jojo's gear. That's the one thing she dislikes. :)

You know, speaking of forks...I have a gp fork lying on my workshop bench and as i glance at it, I was thinking I must really be a GPer to keep that thing lying around close at hand lol

Just wait. You can have one bedside, in the car, at work, by your chair, couple in your vape kit, and STILL have some for the Christmas tree.

I now have GP forks in both car and truck, in the basement on the workbench, in the garage on a workbench, and in a little Tupperware kit for travel. Can't have too many.

Yankee the image if a GP fork decorated tree seriously had me cracking up. If I buy a few more fork requiring items I might just have enough for a little tree myself.

Has this happened to anyone? I took the switch out to adjust it to find the screw was black all on top. It even made it to the top of the spring and part of the switch base.

My coil is at 1.3 so I don't think anything is melting. No shorts...etc ...

Hello again, I am back after a 4-6 hour stare down with a DHL package. Yep, truth. Long funny and touching story. I must of sat with it for two hours with the contents in my massive paws :) checking it out. I forgot about the world around me. Didn't even vape during, couldn't. The first day I was glad to be alone as I was like a 5 year old with the best toy he or she has ever held. Wow. I carefully hand washed every thread, nook and cranny. Gorgeous. I worked all my pieces back and forth to a nice fit and now she sits to air dry. D is going to be in love all over. More to come soon.....

Anyway, #9 Ti checking in tonight.

While I don't usually declare all my vaping purchases to my girl (I don't have
THAT many in my mod collection) she knows I was waiting for my Ti. I told her it was expensive (not how much) but that this one was special and I WANTED it.

I had to pull out all the stops and add that I was going to buy it for myself since my two year vaping anniversary is coming up (I quit analogs mostly at her request).

I forgot to tell her it came with a bunch of (afc/x-) rings (I do?) ...

...and another fork.
You do know that that fork is Titanium right? Don't mix it in.

Congrats on 2 years. Jojo and I will be using our forks to decorate our Christmas tree this year. :)

Fork you.

Aside from working the threads under water, I haven't given it a full cleaning, yet, as I just got it in today. But it wasn't like that when I got it.

I cleaned off most of the black stuff but still have to do a better job when I'm at home. I'll vape it for a bit tonight and if it starts appearing again I'll go back to my v3 until I can sort it out...

Ok. That's the Ti switch? Any chance some slight water got trapped in the switch? That delrin can trap the H2O. And one drop can cause some heartburn.

I didn't wash the switch at all but I'm not going to rule out that, maybe, some moisture got in there? Vaping like a champ again... I'll watch it and see...

That's definitely what I looked like when I took the switch off... shocked!
