i'm waiting on this gvc! I'm going to see what kind of taste ya'll got! lol...heavy vg baby!!!
I wanted to send out a "big thank you" to the special someone that sent me some Peaches and Cream yarn so I can try it out. I feel like a real dummy that I dont remember who it was. I cleaned out some of my PMs and I guess I deleted the PMs. It was someone from MI. Thank you so much, I appreciate it. I just boiled it and dried it and I have it in a coil ready to pop in.
Thanks Sandy
Hey family... off-topic, I've recently been thinking about getting a dripper... mostly so I can take it out to test e-liquids but if it turns out that I like dripping enough I'm not opposed to keeping it in the rotation. Any suggestions on where to start looking? I'm not new to drippers, but the ones I've had were very cheap (IGO and A7).
I'm basically looking for some price economy since I don't think it will be my primary. Can I get away with something good within the $60-$80 range? Looking for SS in 22mm (something to match my paps v3s) but not ruling out those in 23mm since I may get an X one of these days. Would like adjustable airflow. I'm undecided whether I'll run single or dual coils but want one that can accomodate both with relative ease (not planning on making more than two coils at a time). I do not want a ceramic cup setup.
Preferably no unicorns. =)
TIA!
Congratulations everyone!!! I find it awesome the winning post from newyork was him saying he needs a GP mod lol. And some of the winning post are funny too.
But if the only qualifier is having posted in thread 2, then whatever number the algorithm comes up with for a post in thread 2 will point to someone who has posted in thread 2. QED.
Funny though, when I first read the contest description I said wow 5 out of 15. Nice probability. Now that I get my misreading, 5 out of 15000. Haha. A sure thing.
1967 for reasons I'm not aware of.
That was good!
I was seven. I remember that year. Wasn't a good one. Loved the cars though!![]()
I well remember 1967, and it was a very good year for me. I had dated the prettiest/sweetest gal in the county for about 2.5 years (would have married her if not for Vietnam). My newest muscle car was a '67 Camero, a "sleeper" the locals called The Freak because nobody could beat me in a drag race either off or on the local track. I graduated from high school, and as was the norm in that era got my grad certificate in one hand, draft notice in the other. I joined the Navy but would have a few months wait to actually go in. So I was able to still drive to California for the Monterey Pop Festival, had connections there to meet some of the greats performing (Hendrix, Joplin, the Phillips and Cass, Grace Slick, etc) because I had played lead guitar in the better bands in my area and had meet some of the greats that performed there as well (Beach Boys, Stones, etc). A gal pal had dropped out of high school the fall before and went to Haight-Ashbury in San Francisco to find herself. So after the festival I drove up to see her, and stayed for the Summer of Love, did the concerts at the Fillmore and Avalon and met more of the greats, the "ins" at Golden Gate Park and other places, and hung out with her friends - including at the Dead House 2-3 times. I wasn't a Digger or Hippie, drank booze/didn't use drugs but they accepted me for who I was and I them. Many of them remained friends for years until we lost touch. They called me a Hawk that summer because I would be going to Vietnam, and the gal pal made me a Peace and Fire medallion to signify it that I have worn ever since (including all while in the Navy against regs). After the cerimony in GGP to bury the effigy signifying the end of the true hippie era I went back home and soon on to boot camp in San Diego before joining the real Navy. 1968 was a good year too though... I met the lady on a SF beach that would share almost 35 years of her life with me.![]()

I am almost always naked! I hate clothes!![]()
I hate clothes too, especially when it's 120 in the shade. I sleep naked, but I don't sleep very often. Don't bother to get fully dressed unless I have to go out on errands or for walks though. And shoes, I never wear them year round unless I go out. I'm in the comfortable stage in my life, you know, the one where you don't care what others think of your habits.![]()
I have a question about the PnB tool. When polishing my stuff, I have been applying polish and just "hand" polishing with a microfiber towel. If I want to use the tool and not change the polished, satin, etc. look, what would I spin the atty or mod in, just a towel? I want to try it but not change the finish, just remove some light surface scratches or marring! Please advise before I make a mess!!

TIA!
Please see above and give guidance! I have read the tips and threads but not sure what to hold in my hand to spin that baby around and not change the look, in other words, I don't want to turn in a brushed finish to a polished shiny finish!! Thanks family!
