Hello Perseus,

After I balance my checkbook, I suspect I'll be ordering the Dripper Pro.
Two questions:
What are the specs for the o-rings for the Dripper (which I enjoy) and the Dripper Pro?
Your website mentions better performance for the Pro at higher wattages. Could you discuss this a bit more?
Best wishes.

The Pro is made to withstand higher wattage with lower resistance, without becoming too hot. If you want to make simple coil in 1,2-1,5Ω for example, you should increase the wattage to 22-25W and more to have a satisfactory vaping experience. Plus, the liquid capacity is multiple times greater than the GP Dripper. No leakage, unless you fill it all the way up and turn it upside down :)
I don't have the specs in my mind right now. I will know tomorrow, when our office opens.

Thanks P.
Although you sent spares with the GP Dripper, and I don't think I'll need to replace o-rings for a long time, when the time comes, good to know what it will require.

I alternate mods and attys all day long. So, I said to myself, stick with the GP Dripper all evening, and based on that, decide whether to go with the Dripper Pro. I've decided. Hopefully, it will still be in stock!

Wow, just absorbed all this. Very sad to see you closing shop Perseas. Many thanks for your brilliant pieces of vapeable art over the years. Yay governments. What the FDA is doing over here in the US is also somewhat less than wonderful. Cheers, if I'm ever in your part of the world I'll buy you drinks :) Thank you very much for all your efforts.

I'm absolutely gutted by this. GP have been my favorite company since the first exposure. Support. Products. Everything about GP has been just fantastic.

Seeing this is like telling me I can never have ice cream again. Nah. It's worse than that.

So bummed.

Government has evolved to consider themselves experts on what you can and cannot do for your own self. Gone are the times where warnings are enough, where you are told “here you go but you’ve been warned”.

What the government thinks, goes. And they naively want you to believe its in your best interest. The fact if the matter is that the dollar given by companies speaks louder than the voices of those of us it impacts.

Perseas, whatever may come of all of this, I wish you the absolute best. Your gear has saved me SO very much in so many ways and you know many of those reasons. GP is still the gear I count on daily. My only fault is I prefer some of the older versions with the older wicking methods. That fluff will always be my go to.

This is a great post. The largest problem we face is parents who want to rely on everyone else to do their job. It's destroying vaping. And big pharma are up there too. They've lost so much money in lost cessation sales they're doing everything they can.

I'm
Still just shocked. And so bummed out.

@perseas is distraught (rightfully so) but he is not closing down shop, is he?

I believe we have stopped short of making anything formal as nothing has been announced. I took it as more writing on the wall because ofbthe various countries and their regulations. The date is looming.

I have read some of the regs in various areas. It all gives me brain bleed Q. I have noticed many things in common. Flavors of juices, new mod registrations, and low capacity atomizers. That combination of control scares me into believing that many will not be able to afford continuing their current track above ground. The sad part here is the black market will continue and somebody will only get even more seriously hurt. More than they have.

Another fear of mine? China will continue to produce because their agreements with others in regards to trade.

Provape went out. It was a very respectable US product that so many have relied on. They evolved while keeping true to their safety promise to themselves and their customers. And with the exception of few, that was a case of wake up, door locked.

How many have to close? Big tobacco has lined enough pockets to drive these regs down our throats. When will it be enough?

So true. And the cohorts don't seem to get it!

Tough times are ahead -- but we will make it thru :)

I started my vaping journey on 10/2/2012. My goal, was to find that 'happy place', where vaping was everything that vaping could be. That place, where I would be content to stay for life. I didn't immediately find that place. It took me three steps. When I experienced VapourArt, the GP Family, and the GP X, I immediately knew I had found my 'happy place'. My journey was complete. I hope to vape my Xs, and only my Xs, until the end of my time.

I will forever cherish the love I experienced in this room. Perseas, my dear friend, you have a very special place in my heart. And, I hope you continue to be a part of my life forever.

Sending love, hugs and smiles to Perseas, and my GP Family.

And, yes Perseas, "We had a blast!". :)

Could not resist it any longer. Ordered the Pro Dripper :)

I also couldn't resist it any longer and just purchased one. I internally debated whether or not to purchase the GP Dripper Pro for a long time. I placed an order last Friday and decided to get a spare GP Dripper base instead since I have extra GP Dripper top caps and the price was so good. I don't build with thick wire and I don't really need another dripper, but again, the price was so good and it's not clear if the opportunity to get one will come again. I probably have everything that Vapourart has released in the past four years and ultimately the compulsive collector in me didn't want to pass up the GP Dripper Pro.
