I hold mine backards, I like to use my forefinger to rip it. And what a rip it is, it runs hoooott!

The batteries can take up to 6-8 hours to charge fully. You can tell how much is on your battery by tapping the power button once, the first number you get is the resistance of the atty you're using. The second number us the volts (I think that's right, someone correct me if not) you have left on your battery. 4.1 is full, and I usually change out my battery when it's at about 3.4, but they can go lower before they are dead.

Well hopefully it'll be there tomorrow, since the estimated delivery day was today...I miss my Gripper

Rader, I got the 'Trust Fire' multi charger from Igotvapes and the batts are Efest2000 flattops.
Take out the battery from the charger and check it's voltage in the Gripper, at 4.0v it's almost full charge
Thankz Zurd! Took the one that's been charging the longest and it was at 4.1.Put the one I was using back to charge while I use this newer one for a bit

Get the XStar WP2 charger, it's charges battery at 1a instead of the regular 0.5a like most chargers do (so it's twice as fast!).
The Panasonic CGR18650CH are now renowned to be the best battery on the market right now, but anything AW IMR is also very good. Get flat tops, not sure a nipple top would fit in a Gripper.

Efest 2000mAh are good batteries and will do fine in the gripper. Personally, not my first choice in batteries, but that holds no weight against their performance. If Panasonic CGR18650CH's didnt exist then I'd look towards the Efest's.
The charger you have has a 500mA charge rate. Typically that is good for batteries up to 1000mAh. For larger batteries the charge time can get pretty long as you have found. My charger recomendation is the Xtar SP2.

Selectable charge rates of 500mA, 1000mA, and 2000mA make it good for batteries as small as 600mAh and as large as 4000mAh or more.
If budget is a concern then the Xtar WP2 II is the predecessor to the SP2.

XTAR WP2 II intelligent 18650 lithium-ion battery charger
Not as refined as the SP2, but still an outstanding performer. I have 2 of them and if one were to die, I wouldn't hesitate to replace it with a 3rd.

FYIW - I use both eFest flat tops and AW button tops w/o a problem in my Gripper.
I really like the guts of the device, but the box has many problems. I want to put it into a nice wooden box. Too bad I don't have the carpentry background to make it myself. If anyone knows where I could find a nice box let me know.
