...So I've been looking at the Gripper! From what I've read the lowest setting on the Gripper is not really 3.0 but more like 4.2!!! Now that's great for those of you that like higher voltages & that "burny" taste ... And I know I'm probably in the minority ... But I'm a low voltage vaper! I'm thinking the Gripper wouldn't work for me, right? Unless of course I go to a MUCH higher ohm clearo/carto! Need your opinions .... Thanks!
I start at around 3.0 volts in the morning and finish at around 3.6 volts at night. Maybe the Vivi doesn't wick fast enough. I only have 30% VG compared to your 70% too, doesn't help. I tried 2.4 ohms on my Gripper, I don't like it, not hot enough.
2423kids I don't think we're in the minority. It's just a case of finding a way to make it work. I love my Gripper more each day, I think I made the right choice, of course when it decides to breakdown on me I'll be disappointed but it can be fixed and rehoused, opens itself to many possibilities.
I've been lazy with rebuilding /rewicking
coils, (Thanks Ralikar for deleting the Super Easy Lazy Vivi Wick Change Part 2. before leaving us!) I found a solution using MikeE3's idea of placing a 'pillow' of cotton (roll/baton) over the wick/coil of my Stock VN 1.8 & 2.4 Ω Hds. (

vape, and the burning /harsh throat hit I was experiencing has Gone! Now I can
vape up to 3.5-3.8V happily although any higher is a little too much for my liking.
