Heather's Heavenly Vapes - THE BIG THREAD (Part 2)

So I got my KFC rebuilt from scratch with all the replacement SS parts and new screws from Retic. Microcoil with organic cotton ball using 28 g with 8 wraps and coming in at 1.9 ohm. So we'll see. And as always the vapor looks like the subohmers on youtube (LOL!)...I've always been very happy with the amount of vapor this thing puts off. Flavor is just OK to me but it isn't broken in completely yet so we'll see. I'm just spoiled by the awesome flavor from dripping me thinks. At least this time it isn't as metallic. It took entirely too much time and threading that wire around those posts sucks with my carpal tunnel. And I'm so used to recoiling Vivis in under 5 minutes and change is hard. I think I prefer a standard coil with 32 g...it's easier for me to work with. But it is done. I think I'll play around with the voltage to see if I can bring more flavor out. For $21 it's pretty good. But I keep gazing lovingly at my attys. ;)

Heck 6ml's isn't even a sample of HHV. I figure it has to be at least 15ml's.
I agree TNT I ordered a 50 ml sample of Temptation that I should've gotten today but the geniuses at USPS missent to the wrong post office , first time I might have to pummel someone else's mailman . But for someone trying HHV for the first time she gets extra credit for trying a NET on the Army's recommendation .

RJ, go with what works for you. I find the flavor in the KFL every bit as good as dripping. But if you don't, then go back to dripping once you've given it the ole college try.

RJ it usually takes 10 or 15 hits for the cotton before it starts tasting right to me , the big advantage for the microcoil is they're easier to rewick and lasts longer because of that , they're tough little buggers , you can play with the amount of wick and airflow easier now .

8 wraps giving you 1.9ohms with 28g wire? What size mandrel are you wrapping it on? Are you using a 3mm bit, RJ?!

Can I ask what voltage/wattage you're using to fire this coil?

Sorry Lion, I beat you to it. I was going to review it yesterday but got lazy and didn't do it till now. Looking forward to your take.

Sorry? It is an honor to follow you, sir. The last follow up review I did was with Pawpaw, so this suits me just fine. I cannot think of two better chaps to follow in a review.

I usually order the smallest so I can try more flavors. I have weird picky taste buds and still haven't found many worth reordering. I've in a year only reordered larger bottles of 2 flavors I've had. Maybe I'm too picky lol I just am starting to think this is as good as it gets, so so flavors and I'll never really love any of them

How gentlemanly of you to say. Now get that review in! I want to see if we are experiencing the same thing. :)

They don't give a ratio Dave but propylene glycol is in the list of ingredients , no ratio and pg puts it off the radar for me , it sucks to be limited like that .

I get my HHV at 50/50 which I'm OK with. I won't buy from a vendor that doesn't list the VG/PG percentage because they think it's some super secret formula.

I'm a picky vaper too. HHV is perfectly suited to my tastes. I hope you find the same to be true :)

It is funny, I wrote mine before reading yours, but then had to make an EDIT after reading yours.

We saw it much the same, sir. See for yourself.
