DD this is what I use to see with when wrapping coils , it's cheap and it works anywhere . SE MH1047L Illuminated Multipower LED Binohead Magnifier - Amazon.com

Been looking all over the place for one of these, but can't find 'em here:
Handy man

Got something like this one instead: Magnifying Glass with light save mine has a stand, no clamp. Then I have a mini vice that clamps on the desktop to hold stuff to free up the other hand.

Greatest invention for old folks since two ply tissue paper! :2cool:

G-night folks! Quality time for Mama Chak. Then an early night again. Full day of classes tomorrow... ugh! Fortunately, I'm subbing for the techno teacher and his classes are all taught. Students just need to be baby sat, time to bring a video for 'em. I'm thinking "Real Steel" would go well with this class as they were learning to build robots.

I have one of those & use it once in a while for some things. The lights are uselsess on mine since the battery doors fall out with the slightest bump or head nod. What I like to use for coiling is Amazon.com: Daylight Slimline Magnifying Lamp: Arts, Crafts & Sewing AND my reading glasses.

And, though I don't have arthritus, the Amazon.com: Artistic Wire Coiling Gizmo(R) Deluxe Winder for Jewelry Making: Arts, Crafts & Sewing works exceptionally well. If you make the coil directly from the Kanthal spool, you can add enough tension to get a perfect coil with little to no dry-burn/squeezing required (assuming microcoil builds here). It's available in hobby stores, too. I bought a two-mandrel set that did not include a mandrel in the microcoil range, but Ace Hardware had some 0.055 music wire that I bent into shape.

I've got arthritis and have one of the gizmo coil wrapper things. I got the deluxe set. Only two if the wires are close. The 1mm and the 1.5mm are perfect for a micro coil. Best thing I ever bought for coils.

I'm back..not even going to try and do the official catch up so if I missed anything of great importance please let me know. Belize is beautiful and my favorite vacation spot to date. I will go back probably more than once. A week of relaxation on the beach, good food and company was very healing for me. I left a lot of emotional baggage on the beach which was much needed. It's cold here and sounds like it's going to stay that way for awhile, but in the end there is no place like home....glad to be back.

You would have to buy one of these also.

Amazon.com: Body Max IT6000 Inversion Therapy Table: Sports & Outdoors

I've ridden bikes with that riding position. They are built for people whose age starts with a "2".

I turned 282 on Saturday. :)

Afternoon all. Hey IG Well the hearing test shows I can hear below 40 decibels in one ear. Which means I have my DOT card and can go to work tomorrow. But the test also shows that I'm not so good with voice recognition (already knew that) and recommends that I think about getting a hearing aid. So made an appointment for next month to talk about it. I'll have to get one sooner or later.

Happy Happy Birthday George! Btw, why does Lincoln get this big ol' statue of himself in his chair, while all you got is a stone stick poking heavenwards? I was thinking about my Norfolk boy Lord Nelson. He's on a stone stick poking up heavenwards too, but at least he's on the top of it, on his horse looking victorious….

I turned 282 on Saturday. :)
