I actually had a KID come in and brag about being hired by us. He was ready to go home and brag to mommy and daddy about his new job. Works at a job where the biggest question is "you want fries with that?".
He knew and believed in his little feeble mind that he already had the job.
Well I put a HALT on that really quick. The other one was interviewed and when he admitted he ran from PD, cause he was speeding and they took his license, he really didn't understand why. To him it wasn't fair.
OMG What have we created. Well not me, I never created anything but a mess. No kids, not much kin.

My Mom lost her hearing very late in her life too. I'd have to get right next to her ear and yell. Wasn't fun.
Yes they have. They're going to check with the insurance to see what they will cover. They are expensive. Then we'll take about what will work. They are small and digital. She explained it like glasses. A pair of magnifying glasses at Wal-mart is the same as an amplifying hearing aid. Where as a real hearing aid is like prescription glasses. They don't just amplify they can raise certain sounds and not others. I've been having trouble with voices for soon time and knew I needed to get checked. I just hadn't done it. Womens voices are the hardest for me to hear and understand. But maybe that's not a bad thing.
Also told me that most truck drivers have more hearing loss in the left ear than the right. To many miles with the window cracked open.

How the heck do you keep from breaking your fingernails off at the quick. Both hands and the index finger are so sore and tender I can't stand it. I tried some clear polish to try and prevent it, but nothing works. I made my bed and broke one off at the quick. I can't handle this anymore.
OK boys. Go ahead and poke away. I don't care. I need help. I build for a living and it sucks to not be able to use all your fingers, or in Ed"s case paws.

Vitamins help. If you see it starting to crack file or cut that part off. Or drop some super glue on it. Typically they're more brittle in winter, try to use some hand cream and really rub it in the nail bed and cuticle. I was a hairstylist and nail tech for a few years

Sadly, it's not.
I got the Boba's on Saturday. Promptly loaded it up in the KFL. Worth the hype, probably not. I can definitely vape it, and maybe some steep time will make it even better. Reorder? Possible. TH is pretty impressive tho for 100% VG.

That was going to be my suggestion also. If my nails can be seen with palms facing up, they are too long. I don't know how all those gals with artificial nails function. Don't get me wrong, I think they look beautiful, just not so functional for me.
You're a function over form kinda gal. Nothing wrong with that.. Some of us actually appreciate that over "fake" nails.
