it is easy... cut the panel to length as to where it sits right next to the edge of the box the socket sits in, then notch the next panel with a "C" cut and snug it up to the already installed panel :) then replace socket cover to cover edges.

lol... I remember a person who installed peg board on top of sheetrock... directly on top of it... when he went to put the hangers in place......................

DH and I discussed how we avoided eating turkey this year. We had ham for lunch, and MIL made a stuffed pork loin for dinner. Our kind of Thanksgiving.

I got about 90% of my shopping done online yesterday. The UPS guy is gonna hate me this week!

Today's project is adding peg board between the upper and lower garage cabinets. If there wasn't an electric outlet it would be easy.

Y'all have a great day!

Mmmm. Might be my German heritage, but pork is my weakness! Ham is a bit salty for me these days, but pork loin, pulled pork - irresistible!

We actually went vegetarian this year, though it wasn't intentional. We just happen to love my black lentil pasta with homemade sauce. Mushroom, zucchini, and a nice kick of spice from jalapeños and sambal oelek which is a chili paste that's spicy and brings umami to any dish. Yum!

Evening...Just a normal Saturday... I did go to Staples and tried out the office chairs. Found one I liked for $170. But they were out of it. Lucky me.. Well I may try OfficeMax tomorrow. But I'll call a different Staples first just in case. The chair I have is close to dumping me on the floor. It's about 15 years old.

Geek Girl ! Help me out here !
Laptop will turn on, but can't get to Google or Internet Explorer.
Working fine on my Smart(er than me) phone...

Sorry I missed this SOS earlier. I'd need more details here. Does Windows start up? If so, you can get to programs using the search bar and typing Chrome or Internet Explorer. I'll check back here more tomorrow to see if you still need help. I can help you get the desktop icons back if that's the problem. If it's something else, I can PM you my contact info and help get it sorted.

Good Morning Army. Easing into my second cup of coffee.
My laptop is still screwy. It will turn on, the desktop, complete with thumbnails (?) will come up as normal. But when I try to bring up Google Chrome or Internet Explorer it just searches...and searches... until it says unable to connect. The wifi signal on the lower taskbar shows full bars, as usual. And is displaying connected to our router. And Chrome is working just fine on the smartphone.
I tried using the Windows open programs window, typing Chrome, Google, and Internet Explorer in the " search programs and files" bar, but that doesn't work either.
I really want to get back online, end of month bills need to be paid.
Any assistance would be appreciated, thanks.

Have a Safe and Blessed Day :)

hmmm I dont remember what the code is but IIRC there is a way to "ping" your internet in the Command Line in windows...

you type the code, it sends a signal to and back and tells you the time it took... if the board is doing the same as mine did, you will never get a return signal message since it never got sent.... but if it works, then the google software is toast... also explains why the bars are good tho... youre getting a signal.

It's a 2010 model Dell that came with Windows Home Edition.

Maybe it's time to start thinking "Apple"....

If the other company is "apple" then Windows based stuff would be considered "lemon" ??? ;)
it would be like comparing apples to oranges or lemons ( they are both citrus fruits)
