Afternoon.......Got a new chair from Staples.$150...Not the one I was looking at...Going to take some getting use to (needs to get broke in) but at least I don't feel like I'm going to be dumped on the floor....

Glad you're back online! The downside here is that Win updates are released on the second Tues of each month. If it was an update that messed up your wi-fi, it might be reinstalled on the next round.

Until you're ready for a new computer, you could check for updated drivers for your wi-fi. Here's a link for the simple instructions:

If you're not running Win 10, you can still follow those steps.

Hopefully it was just a glitch and all will be well. I'm typing this on the best laptop I've ever owned: Macbook Air from 2011. It was not cheap! But it's almost 8 yrs old and going strong. (knock wood!!! ) I've only had to replace the battery - again not cheap at $150, but so far it was well worth it.

Awesome! Sitting at a desk all day, I know the value of a good chair. Being a trucker, you also know about how sitting can wreak havoc on your body. Glad you won't be getting dumped on your floor!

Back when I worked a minimum 12 hr day 6 days a week, I actually sprang for a high end chair from Relax the Back. It was crazy expensive, but it greatly reduced the neck, shoulder and arm pain I had. I'd never spend that much again, but I'm sitting in it now and it's as good as new.

alright... I took today off from everything.. no phone calls, no stress from whatever, lots of beer...( Spaten Optimator doppelbock.. really good stuff)... drinking beer before 5pm.. feels so wrong, but feels so good
Ive been basically on call for 12/7/365 for the last 2 yrs... it has been a way of life for so long Ive forgotten whats its like to have a day off... Ive rewicked and coiled 5 of my attys, recharged all my batteries that have been idle ( 22)...( Im amazed how long batteries can hold a charge)... revisited my stash of DIYNETs and loaded up the 5 attys with them... I was worried that some of the older DIYNETs would be nasty, but even after 2-3 yrs of shelf storage they have turned into some awesome vaping stuff... the intensity, multiple levels of flavors, depth is incredible... although the vanilla cigar turned nasty... took on an ammonia scent..trashed that one, bottle and all. Found a bottle of Crackberry from 2015... just wow!!! And the Tuscan Cocoa from 02/16 is incredible... pure dark chocolate...
