Classy, I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your dear kitty. It hurts me just to hear your grief. I do know that feeling, and yes I've been there before. I lost my favorite kitty a few years ago. She had liver disease. It was hard for her, and hard for me too. She didn't go quickly, but I did everything I could to get her well. The pills helped for a while, then just when I had hope, she took a downward spiral. The special food didn't work either that the vet gave me. I had to syringe feed her, against her will. I finally realized what the best thing for her was, and I didn't want her to suffer anymore...
David, oh I am sorry to hear about you having the flu. Well it is good that you know that. Now maybe you will stay home and take care of yourself. Send your sister to get things for you. She can drop them off at your doorstep. I miss the days when you could get good medicine for ailments like that. Remember when you could buy paregoric? That was the best thing for severe virus like an uncontrollable stomach bug. I gave you a recipe that would help, and your sister or a friend can pick the ingredients up for you. That of course is up to you.
I guess I've had the flu about three times in my life, they all stunk. The worst was the swine flu back when I was in high school.
I have been doing more study on essential oils. Several of them could benefit you. When my son in law was sick, my daughter diffused some of them for him. He is a firm believer in them now. I can't diffuse some of the best ones, but I did put some on topically before bed. One drop each of peppermint, lemon, and eucalyptus with coconut oil. I've been having some pretty serious allergies lately. (Plus the central heat running practically non-stop hasn't helped either.)

Evening....Well I wasted 2 hours between the urgent care and the pharmacy.. I have a viral syndrome. Which means the beginning of the flu. So I have some stuff to help and maybe it won't get worst. Sure not vaping much...

Natgeo advertises that Life Below Zero season 9 premiers Jan 4 (tomorrow). Well, they just played a new episode the other day. You can get it on the Natgeo app if you want to watch it. Title is "Homecoming". Gives you an idea of who the people in the show are. Probably a set up episode for interested new viewers.
If it helps, my bill will go down about $80 because I haven't used the A-C....Ouch. Quit it! Stop pinching my arm....the heater has been running non-stop.... gonna have a 200+$ gas bill...
got the heater set on 80 and the thermometer still sez 70... these older southern homes dont have much insulation in them at all...
