If it helps, my bill will go down about $80 because I haven't used the A-C....Ouch. Quit it! Stop pinching my arm....

yup, thats the way it is here too, gets cold, heater bill increases but the AC bill drops accordingly... so its basically a balancing out type of thing.... no real major increase on the end...

Back from the company sponsored blood letting. I have no idea where they get their nurses (?) but every year they cannot find a blood vein. Ever. Last year I had blood drawn at my doctor's office (testing for rheumatoid) and it was done quite professionally. When I commented to her about this, she just shook her head and mumbled something about "found a K-Mart"
Must be a HC Provider joke....

Not so here! When the AC has to run continuously, our bill is 10 times the amount for heating.

I fear my next heating bill. It is going to be extreme, that is all I know. Maybe some milder weather will counteract the terrible days of cold. I hope so!

Tonight is the last night of ultra frigid temps. So Cassie is going to get a hair cut TODAY. I had her weighed yesterday, and she is now 16.2 pounds. I put this into one of those puppy weight calculators, and it says she will be 18.5 pounds when she is grown. That is about what I figured lately. Hopefully she won't top 20 pounds, but she does like to eat!

Light dusting of snow and the town is shut down. Best advice I ever heard about how to drive on snow: "Stay away from anything that can make a decision".

This is the Carolinas. These people can't drive in the rain.
Stationary objects are not safe around here, either.
