A few years back I was driving at the start of a snowstorm in another old Honda I had. Guy passed me too quickly and the air current from his oversized pickup set my car to fish tailing. Next thing I know I was spinning around, crossing into the passing lane and likely to hit the steel guard rail dividing the roadway. Had one of my kids in the passenger side and all I could think was that if there was going to be impact, I wanted it on my side.

The spin out caused the snow to cascade up. Complete whiteout. Instincts took over and I managed to get out of the spin. Ended up in the shoulder ditch off of the right lane. Another steel guard rail about three feet in front of me. Big row of pines three feet behind me. No impact anywhere. No injuries for either of us. The car just softly set between damage causing obstacles.

Angel on my shoulder. No doubt in my mind.

The car even started right up. Some guys stopped to help push me out of the ditch. Car drove just fine to a gas station a couple miles down the road where I pulled in and sobbed for a little while.

Went to the hospital today for a followup , had Xrays taken and got to see'm . No wonder I'm still hurting , looks like they laid railroad tracks in my neck .

That had to be freaky to see! Is your healing progressing well though? No concerns?

So far ,so good .It's slower going than I'd like but it beats the alternative . Gotta go back in March for more Xrays . And Yeah first thought was railroad tracks , second was, looks like something out of Terminator , a skull sitting on a metal spine .

From a pain standpoint you could not of had much worse of a surgery. Anything on the spine is gonna ache big time. Rough stuff for sure.

    Good Morning!

Whew, I was sitting on pins and needles for a bit. Just before we left to go north, I checked my lab results and my CEA had climbed from 70.7 to 83.4. Freaked me out a bit but told myself that it doesn't mean the cancer is starting to grow again. The CT scan a few days before showed excellent progress in beating it.

Thursday we checked my CEA and I just saw the lab results this morning: 73.3! Going back down again :w00t:

Just a blip on the radar and back to business. :D

    A good day indeed!!

Retic & Robin, we need the two of you to continue progressing. David, you sounded better last night. I like to hear good reports on conditions.

I'm glad y'all liked the cat video. I thought it was so funny. The eyes on a cat tell you a lot. Did you notice the pupils change in the cat's eyes? I sure did! Pets can be entertaining at times, that is for sure.

Do you guys add extra flavor when ordering Dragon's fire, or just order it as is. I am thinking about ordering some, I have not ordered any juice in a long time, I have been doing DIY for several years. :?:

KAS, yes. I order DF with extra flavoring. A long time ago I tried extra flavoring and I could not tell a difference. About a year ago I started adding extra flavor and I noticed it, albeit slight. It will be great either way. Is this your first rodeo with DF?

Yes it will be my first order ever with HHV, I think I am about to order the Prime. I would like to try the DF that everyone raves about as well. :|
