Ok Now that I've had a few to rest. It was a long four hours. But everything is done. DOT done for another year. Cable box returned. Wanted to get it back before the next billing cycle. Internet was 30/5..So I bumped it to 100/10 for $50. Add that to DTVN for $60 and It should be about $120 +/-.. Saving me about $60 and I have everything I watch plus some. I'll learn to do without the DVR for now. Just need to find a way to remind myself when a show is on...Maybe an app on my phone or even the PC.

Did you have chemo yesterday? How many sessions remain? You must be about done with the scheduled treatments.

Yes, this is my 'scheduled' last one. But it won't be. I will continue until it is gone completely.

Speed test shows I'm getting what I should...
WooHoo! Your Roku signal has to have jumped.

My neighbor's wifi signal blows my windows out. It's always been as strong as the signal I get from my wifi. He lives across the street and one over and we're on large lots. His router has to be 300+ feet away. I knew he had a NETGEAR cuz that's what comes up on my list. I asked him this morning which model he had. He has a Nighthawk AC1900, model R7000...exactly the same model I have been looking at. Got another auction ending in 20 minutes. I'm going to bid the opening bid price since no one has bid on it yet (likely still wont win). If I get it, great. If not, so what. More coming tomorrow.

Will you be on the every-other-thursday mode? And any idea how many more sessions?

Yes, every other week. We have dropped the Oxaliplatin due to neuropathy starting in my hands and feet. Don't want that to become permanent. If needed, we can always add it back in. I managed to go 10 of the 12 treatments with it.

No time frame on the chemo. Just go until it kills all the cancer or until it fails.

I'm betting on the killing all the cancer. ;)

Me too. :)

Is neuropathy a side effect of all this?

Lori, maybe the person smoking out on the balcony was a visitor of the tenet? Regardless I feel sorry for them. I don't care if people smoke, it doesn't bother me. I just pull my vape out, and smile.

That’s what was weird! Usually I don’t care. This time the smell of the smoke irritated me. I reacted like one of those militant non-smokers who used to glare at me. I got over it fast though. I believe it’s the tenant because it happens daily. I just happened to have the door open. Guess I really really wanted FRESH air - not smoky air!

Won the auction for the used Nighthawk wifi (between 3 and 4 years old). Yay me! $44. Opening bid request was $42.60. Someone bid $43.00 just seconds before the end. I had a max bid of $44.61 I posted right after the first bid and was the only other bidder so it incrementaled it up to $44 even. Most of them have been going for around $50 so I'm happy. One went for $31 but one of the lights that was supposed to be green was stuck on red. I think that scared people away. Add $11.15 for shipping and I got it for $55.15. New on Amazon is $147.

Hi Army, Been gone for a long time! I had what the Doctors call a “double bilateral open hernia surgery”.
Good grief my wife now calls me her C-section buddy, lol. Any girl that’s ever had a C-section I now synthesize for! I mean, I waited on my wife hand and foot through all three of her C-sections but I mean even more so now! I’d post a couple pics but I don’t want to ruin anyones day, ha!

In the meantime I ordered myself a new Mod called the Tuglyfe dna 250 from a Company online,
eightvape.com. Anyone have experience with this company?
I have sent to open requests and a few emails because I made the purchase for days ago and I didn’t even get an email receipt. I did get a copy and paste response from them but that’s all. I feel kind of mad because I checked them out online and on Reddit and didn’t find any serious complaints, mostly just good reports.

It is a typical side effect of the Oxaliplatin. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Whatcha gonna do? Ya know? It did its job and hopefully the 5FU can keep doing its job.

Hi @underd0g and welcome back! Glad to hear your healing is underway. Four C-sections for me and I couldn’t agree more that midsection surgeries are not fun. I haven’t heard of eightvape.com, so I’m no help to you there. Hope it works out quickly for you though. :)

Well done! That’s the way to handle items on an auction. I’m not good at that. And I’m just glad it wasn’t @DavidOH you were bidding against. (Or WAS it?!?)

I feel awful now! I didn’t know you were in chemotherapy Robino1. I’m a prayer, that’s my gift and it’s what I do. I’ll be praying for you!
