I have a good friend whose Dad raises their beef, grass fed. Hopefully someday I can buy from him. Honestly tho, I've never had grass-fed beef. Feeding an army here, it's just not possible.
Just saw a story on the news about a couple who has 13 boys with the 14th in the hopper. How'd you like to feed that family? :)

Good morning, Army!

14 kids would drive me over the brink. Most of them boys? LOL. It would be rough. Actually I think boys are easier than girls in some ways. I had one of each of course. Boys are always getting in to stuff, and getting hurt. If you had two boys they would be physically punching each other. Our neighbor had 3 boys, and then later had a girl. The mama was so happy about that little girl. The girl became daddy's girl and he melted with her around.

Yesterday I got two of Papaw's homemade juice in the mail!!!! The Dark Cherry and I think the other was Chinese Silk. The Silk juice has some perique in it, not sure what else. I didn't age it. Now he says I should age it 2-4 weeks anyway. I am excited to have these. I love the pipe flavored tobacco vapes, they are just so satisfying to me.

My son is coming for a short visit this weekend. I just got off the phone with him a little while ago. I can't wait to see him again. I wish we had time for a long visit with some quality one on one time to talk. At least I will be seeing him for a longer visit this time, instead of mainly a dinner. I hope it isn't raining when he drives here, but we have a chance of rain for another week straight.

Well this day went down hill. Headed for work and the battery light came on and the volt gage was dropping on my S10. So did I turn around and head home? No I tried to get to work. Needless to say I didn't make it. I did get off the freeway and tried to get to Advance Auto. I got close before it died. Got a jump from someone and made it there. So a couple hours in a light rain and I had a new alternator and belt put on in the parking lot. Got them to charge the battery and I'm back home. Got my charger on it just to make sure the battery is fully up. I'm sure work would have liked for me to go in but I'm not. Screw'em

That's enough excitement for one day.

Bronze, I wasn't sure that the baby in the oven so to speak was ANOTHER boy. Good grief they need to just give up. Feeding two teens is enough on the budget. My son grew so fast, and he was like a Jack In The Beanstalk. He was a bottomless pit, and had a very high metabolism. He is a good weight now that he is grown. He is a tall guy, but if he doesn't keep his calorie intake up, he drops weight very fast.

Yes it is. My hands and wrist are beat up from getting that belt back on.
Hard to maneuver that belt around all them pulleys, eh?

If it were a girl could you imagine how protected she would be? :)

No, it is Oriental Silk, not Chinese Silk.

I haven't looked at the shootings too much yet. It is very sad indeed, and aggravating. What has gotten into our young people today? Strange alright!!

Yes the pulleys, the plastic fan blades which have sharp edges and the new belt being stiff so it doesn't go where you want it to.:grr:

and dont forget that tensioner pully that requires 2,319 ft/lbs of torque to get it to move ;)

I'm still sulking over that $12 idler pulley that gave out on my truck two summers ago that caused $750 of damage. And I heard a whistling sound just a few days prior but couldn't pin down where it was until I was 300 miles away from home busted down along I-95 in East Jubip, SC.

It took a full body lean on the tire iron to get the tensioner pulley far enough to get the belt on the idler pulley. Mine is with AC. Started with #5 and ended with #1. It took longer to put the belt on than it did to put the alternator on.
