Did someone, who shall remain nameless, mention something about time on one's hand.

It’s true! I live in a glass house!!!

As you now know, it’s a Big Thread tradition. I have a document saved with the list. It’s a simple matter of adding the new name and copy/paste. Took less time than counting remote buttons. ;)

I hope you stick around here. You fit right in! Yay!

Wonderful News! Chemo hasn't kicked my .... too badly. The hands issue, so far, has been the worst.

Just got a call from the dermatologist. Along with looking at my hands, he removed a wart like thing from my arm. It was/is cancerous. So I go back to have more work done on it. I wonder if that is the reason for the spike in my CEA...

It did go up again but ONLY .6 and that was after the thing was taken off. I bet there is a bit more in that area.

Sheesh, if it ain't one thing, it's another! LOL

Still fighting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bwahahahaha!

Robin, you’re amazing. I wish I lived near you and I’m not even your kid. :)

Seriously, though, adding this to my prayers for you.

I think what you did with your kids was a labor of love. I know that wasn't an easy job, but a rewarding one in the long run. My daughter also loved Little Women. My son had to watch countless reruns of that movie too. I enjoyed that movie a lot, but the book is 99.9 % always better in my opinion.

LA, I used to take notes by writing very fast. It became a habit, and over the years it was second nature. My hands are not steady, and that also contributed to the poor handwriting. I even took short cuts in the writing, to make it that much quicker. As I've grown a bit older, the handshake has gotten worse. So I decided to go back to the drawing board, and slow down. I am trying to tweak the muscle memory. It has helped. If I am having a bad day though, you can always tell as the writing is much worse. Funny thing is I can take German Chamomile essential oil, and the tremors mostly disappear. If I need to write something important, I will usually take some of that. I was surprised at what a difference it makes. Practice has also made a difference, but I think I'm almost hitting the peak of what I can do there. My mother has really nice handwriting, but she writes extremely slow. My goal is that everyone is able to read my writing without too much of a strain. :)

As a lefty who hooks my hand over as I write, nice handwriting is kinda a lost cause! I’m too impatient when I write to form nice letters. Then if I do by some miracle write nicely and legibly, along comes the heel of my hand to smudge it up. :D

But I do admire your diligence and perseverance!

Same thing happens when I write with my feet. The palm of my foot gets in the way.

Here you go, feisty, smarty-pants! :pervy:

Hubs has a large tumor and I know 2 chemo sessions didn't shrink it so I have no idea why he's been pain free the last 2 days and no nausea either. The last session was a short 2 hour one and I went with him so I know the actual chemo drip was only a half hour. The long session he had last week was 6 1/5 hours and I know the chemo drip had to be much longer for that one plus it's 2 different chemo drugs.

Sounds like there's a couple good questions in there to ask the doc.

Even just a small shrinkage can give relief. My ascites went away after the very first treatment with Avastin. These are very powerful drugs.

The first session is always the longest. They slow the drip way down to help the body handle the drug. My first infusion of Avastin was an hour, second was 45 minutes, now it is 1/2 hour and steady at that rate. Our bodies need to get used to these strong meds.

    Good morning Army. :)
