Praying for you!

Also for @FranC ’s hubby. And @Robino1 as she and her hubby travel.

@DavidOH - that is a serious, intense looking coil! Bet the flavor is amazing.

Yes it is...And the duel Tidal coils I put in both RDAs are doing the same and they are smaller...

More beer and pizza is worth a try..:)

Hubs had his long chemo session today. I expect him to be sick by tomorrow just cause that's how it goes.At least he's felt good today and had no effect from the chemo except some hot flashes tonight.
Poor guy probably feels like a pin cushion.

I have been feeling better for around an hour and a half or so. Something made me have a lot of nausea. The pain became intense. So I had them to call me in a prescription for a medicine that has to be made. It is a nausea medicine that is in gel form. That way you just rub the pre-measured gel on your stomach, and it absorbs into your body. If nausea is too bad, you can't swallow a pill, and keep it down.

The pain was so intense that my mom suggested that I try heat on it. I have one of those therapy pillows that you heat up in the microwave. So I called the doctor on call, and was told it was okay. It took a while, but I had miraculous results. The pain is much better. That pill did very little to the pain, but the heat really did a shocking job. The pain went from the surgery site, even into my hip area, and around to the side of my back. That area is now almost pain free. The surgery site still has pain, but now it is something I can easily tolerate. What a relief!

I’m so glad you were able to get relief from the pain! Any type of anesthesia always made me nauseous. Whatever it is that they call “general” anesthesia (that knocks you out) was especially bad. Made me violently ill. In your case, maybe the area and nature of the surgery brought on nausea. In any case - keep on healing! :)

Keep that pillow! It also works great on back pain, and the ol' kidney stone pains too.

Hula, I got my mother one of these pillows last December. She wasn't sure that she would like it, but I heated it up for her, and let her try it. She really liked it. I tried her pillow and liked it so much I got one for me. I mainly use it for neck pain. I didn't think it would work for kidney stone pain. I have used it for back pain as well. I just didn't think of trying it for the pain near the hip and side of my back. I don't know what caused that pain yesterday for sure. It could've been part of a stone, or maybe it was from the laser, or possibly even be from the position they had my leg in during surgery. Those are just guesses of course. I am just glad that particular pain is gone now. I still have pain with the stents and ureter tube etc... but it is not terrible. I've had more nausea today, so I took more of the nausea medication. Today I am just going to do as little as possible, and rest.

What is this miracle of which you speak? I got some pains and any non-medicated solution is welcome.
