We have been dry as a bone here. Sprinkled some yesterday. Today we had a squall come through here, and it was a huge downpour. We needed the rain, but it came down so fast that most of it flashed off the top of the soil, down in the storm drains, and is on the way to the river. I am thankful for rain, but a slow soaking raining would be preferred.

Home again. Neck and left arm, again. Waiting for doctor's office to set appointment.
Not happy. Neither is Mamaw ....

UPDATE; Friday at 10:30 is the earliest I can see the doctor :p
Not good , you might need another MRI and definitely another opinion .

I've been out of town the last two days. It came a downpour yesterday morning as I was trying to get out of town. And it rained again this morning before I got back home. Checked the rain gauge and we had 2.5". We needed it bad.

I was griping the other day about needing rain. And my son reminded me that it wasn't long ago I was griping about all the rain we were getting. He thinks I just like having something to gripe about.

welll... the ticket for the "burned out" headlite is done... and the grand total is...

    160 for the ticket
40 for the bulbs ( which were never the case, the bulb was good)
10 for the fuses ( it was a fuse and not the wiring, they dont sell single fuses, you have to buy a box of 20)
and 3 trips to Houma for a grand total of 240 miles o_O

at least I get good gas mileage... still cost less to drive than to pay an additional 25$ for electronic pay method...
can you believe that... charge you 160 for a ticket and then want another 25 more to use a debit/credit card....

somewhere along the line as I was sleeping, I got transported to another planet ( this one) and Im not happy here... things were much nicer where I was originally... :pervy: people had morals there ;)

but on a good note.... sometime back the wifey wrecked her car... the tow truck driver parked it in the driveway "backed in", I removed the front grill work to asses the damage and from that point on my neighbor insisted many times that it should be put in the back yard... since the rack and pinion ( steering gear box) was damaged, moving the car any more than needed would further damage the front end causing a couple more thousand $s worth of damage to the car. So... I let the car stay right where it was until I could gather up 900$ to repair the R&P. About 3 weeks later I see a big yellow sticker on the windshield from code and on the sticker its marked as junk/abandoned on private property.
By now Code knows me on an almost personal basis ( he always asks hows the wife), I go to court to deal with this and the DA looks up and sez " your not supposed to be here until Jan 11 2019... I told him that this is for something else ( not the house issues) its my wifes car... he delves into the computer and looks up the info and sees what it was now and who filed the complaint... he shakes his head and mumbled " some people should mind their own business".... he dismissed the car issue... told me to save my money and fix the car instead of paying fines... I now know for sure who the person is that made the complaint... my wonderful next door neighbor...

Im not a vengenceful person but I have plans for his beloved palm trees right next to my fence that dump all their "old stuff" in my yard...

    all I can say is

    BHUHAHAHAHahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaa

I was given some Maxwell house Max coffee , 1.25 times the regular amount of caffeine . Not great coffee , you can tell it's altered , the stuff is pure rocket fuel though . Works as intended .

thats not much more.... only 25% more ;)

    for example... 1 X 1.25 = 1.25
now if it was 2.25 times more, then you would have coffee that rivals a 5 Hour Energy drink :)

or one of my Esspresso Drinks that uses 4X the coffie for 1 cup than normal

    :)

Honor and integrity is in short supply these days. I'm not talking about mistakes or misunderstandings here. I'm talking about lack of character. Best thing to do is keep as much distance from those people as possible before they can do any damage. Not always easy. Some people we have no choice but to deal with. Others are frauds. They're the worst. My friend calls them, "Smiling Azzholes". They present themselves as someone they are not. In reality they are someone else. Usually cowardly, self-centered, and just plain dishonest. They don't see themselves as that so they just blame others for their own shortcomings or just walk away from their responsibilities. As I get older I get wiser to these people. But wisdom can't always sniff out these frauds. This is why I keep what I call a "Shlt Pile". It's all the carnage accumulated from these frauds that I cannot do anything about. All I can do is accept that a "Shlt Pile" is an unavoidable thing of life and keep it as far away from me as I can so I don't have to look at it or smell it any more than I have to. The only comfort is knowing these frauds will have their day in front of their maker to explain themselves. And it wont be pretty for them.

So throw it on your "Shlt Pile" and move on, BK. Something tells me you're good at that. :)

And yes, this serves to remind me to take my own advice too.

the thing that irks me tho is that these people will get away with the BS they pull on people for years and profit handsomely from it now.... and we, the ones they prey upon have to suffer because we may be a bit too honest, trusting and believe that others have morals.... its a shame that we have to become so hardened and become untrusting of just about everyone we meet due to the antics of those few....

while on a run, I heard something on the radio about banning the trucking business from allowing the truckers to pull 2 full length trailers at one time ( I think they are referring to 2 54' trailers) from what Ive seen, its hard enuf to pull just one around... especially in the city. How in the world can they get 2 in a row around corners???
