Things just never go right sometimes.

We got to Michigan Wednesday and that night I developed another blockage. So I'm in the hospital again. Still in the hospital and my appointment with the Flint doctor has been rescheduled for Tuesday.

Good morning
I just hopped on and was gonna ask (wonder) how Ms. Robin was doing. Bad news. That blockage has got to go! Hang in there Ms. Robin. They'll get to it in time. You've gone this long. A few more days is all.

Oh Robin, that is disappointing. As Bronze said, you will get there. I just said the best prayer for your healing, that I could think about. Prayer is very relaxing. When I was in the hospital you could see my blood pressure and heart rate lower during prayer. (a man of the cloth came to pray for me when things were bad) I think that is quite common. I also had people from my congregation come pray for me. James 5:13-16

I was thinking about you, so thanks for the update. I know I am not the only one praying for you dear.

Good morning Robin! Just getting caught up. Hang in there sweetie and just be patient. Prayers for a speedy recovery and positive feedback from the Flint specialist.

Bronze, I never read that book. I did see the movie though, and I liked it a lot.

It is quiet in here. I was helping out with my grandsons today. My daughter really didn't need help, but I was there if she did. She is lucky, the boys are content and not fussy. They are so adorable. I know they are gonna be a handful before you know it. They grow up so fast, you have to enjoy every moment.
I believe I saw or heard somewhere that King got a pittance for the movie rights to Shawshank.

had an awesome run today... paid about 200$ worth... and on the way back home I was on top of the Miss River Bridge in Baton Rouge and a serious rain storm/mini tornado hit... anyway... the wind was incredible, bouncing the car around a tad and then the hood of the car unlocked and started waving in the wind... and then... it flew off in front of my car and I ran over it and the car behind me ran over it and it split into 2 pieces and the wind took one piece and tossed it over the side of the bridge and the other into the other lane... replacement cost of the hood.... you guessed it.. 200$

it seems I can never get ahead.... o_O

hope I have better luck with a Guinness ;)

Home. Well, at son's house :)

I think the hospital might have blocked the site? After posting my status, I couldn't get ECF to load back up at all.

I'm doing a very soft diet. They drained almost 2 liters of fluid from my abdomen
More puréed foods than anything else and no fiber at all. Feels like I'm a baby again ;). Looking at a liquid diet for a while.

Just gotta make it to the new appointment on Tuesday! :nun:

Will keep you as updated as I can.

I could use a chiropractor about now as well. That cat is still hanging around, and my big dog has worn me out trying to lunge after it. Well it has helped my upper body strength, but my body is complaining big time from it. I admire the cat's resolve. I have never gone out of my way to be nice to him, or feed him. I try to avoid him when outside. He still rises up to greet me, and seems quite happy when I go out in the yard. It is just plain weird.
