Hey there. Sure will be nice when we hear from Robin again. She’s in my daily prayers for sure.

I made it home from Florida. As much as I love my mother, and I do love her to pieces, I gotta day I couldn’t wait to get home. She’s developing some anxieties about travel, timeliness, etc... and it was a bit much. I tried to stay grateful that I have her in my life, and do things that made her more comfortable (like driving in the R lane for 58 miles on the 4 and taking as many backroads as I could to keep her off the freeway, arriving 30 min early in 95 degree heat in dress clothes with no water so she wouldn’t be “late”).

Needless to say, I’m so glad to be home! And the pool is up and running with water features and everything working. Heading to the hot tub now!

Hope everyone has a nice weekend.

Afternoon......Got the grass cut. Got the new hearing aids and been to the store. The new aid sound different. Too soon to tell how much better they are. The app I have on my phone lets me make a few adjustments. I go back in two weeks to get readjusted if needed.....Only time in my normal routine will tell me how they are doing.

Well I had to go shopping yesterday. I was on my feet for a while. The pain in my leg has come back and swelling. I also have swelling in my ankle, which never even was hurt. I think it just dropped from the shin area that was hit several days ago. So I am starting up the treatments again. I thought I had this thing knocked out almost all the way. Weird thing is, I even have some bruising on the inside of my ankle. That wasn't there yesterday, and I don't know where it came from.

My BFF was diagnosed with age related macular degeneration today. This, after he found out two days ago that his partial kneee replacement failed and he needs a full replacement. The guy is a wreck.

Speaking of wrecked...I'm done with raking and seeding. I have muscular degeneration.

Sorry to hear about your friend, Bronze. That is rough alright.

I went to visit friends today. I was given a few tunas from an opuntia that I don't have. (prickly pear variety) I am going to take the seeds out and plant them in the spring. That way I can have my own tunas, and it will be a nice treat. (cactus fruit) These tunas are the size of a large fig. If I had a greenhouse I'd just go ahead and plant them. Since I don't, early spring will be the best time to plant the seeds. (or maybe very late winter)
