Good morning.. Pretty quiet week here. I did drink the MLM kool-aid and bought Beachbody on Demand.. It's dark early so running outside Mon-Thurs is out.. And I don't love going to the gym. The dreadmill there faces the wall, no TV. Beachbody on Demand has TONS of different workouts, so I shouldn't get bored.

I bought a used bathroom mirror last night to install vertically in the master bedroom. Thats where I do my workouts, so for lifting form and such.. Plus I've never had a full length mirror. Will pick it up tomorrow. I think it was a pretty good deal. $100 and it's 40x61.5". One tiny flaw smaller than a pencil eraser. Hopefully we can get it here without more, lol..

@LAwaters your hair looks great! I'm growing out my gray/natural. Almost 7 months now. It's a painfully slow process but I'm determined...

We've got snow chances on Monday, high of 33 today. Hope everyone has a great weekend.:)

Thanks! I’m having a hard time picturing that you would even have any gray! Congrats on breaking that chain of constant coloring though. The growing out is the hardest part. That in between state. I skipped that by buzzing it all off. :D

Brrrrr!!! It’s cold over there where you are. LOL @ “dreadmill”!!!

Good Morning Army. Shoulder is killing me. Has been for about two days now. I think my body is getting older than I am. I need to begin a search for the Fountain of Middle Age ....

Have a Safe and Blessed Day :)

Yep. The cold sets in = let the body aches begin. I do hope you take it easy. We don’t want to see you returning to the Mistress of Pain. :)

Well I am feeling a little better today. I was just worn out yesterday to the max. I think mostly I was on auto-pilot as the day went on though. The cold front is here, and we are going to have even colder days brought on by more rain. I am pretty sure I read a day or two ago that this cold weather is actually coming from Canada. We had dust from Africa not far back.

The dogs are frisky in this brisk air. I think the little dog is almost through with her heat. You don't know how relieved I am about that. :thumb: I've been trying to catch up on the news. There is so much going on right now, in every way. The California fires are horrifying. My heart goes out to those poor people. We had blue skies today, but the spraying started up again. We need that sun to dry up some of this moisture. You think the modifiers would send California the rain, but that doesn't seem to be the plan.

"Mistress of Purgatory". And she's a sweetheart. Just as nice as she could be. Claims that a retired Army Colonel who didn't like being told what to do by a woman stuck that on her.
I asked her once if she'd ever heard "Mrs. Miyagi" ? She just laughed, said "No. But I think I'll stick with the Mistress of Purgatory".
By the time I left P.T., those ladies were giving me hugs and telling me they appreciated my being so "upbeat and positive."

After I typed that I thought, no, that’s not right. First the memory goes and then.... what was I saying???

Being upbeat & positive helps the healing. :)

Second thing to go....

You looks very lady like, Ms Lori, with your longer hair. Lovely.

I'm off to the opera ball tonight. I dread these. Don't do social situations well at all really. I feel like a useless lump, while everyone else looks so elegant and at ease. Oh well. One of those "git 'er done and over with" things I guess. :)

Thank you very much. I ain’t no lady though. Just a cranky old broad.

I recall the pic you shared with us of you at a past opera ball. You looked beautiful. My thought was, “Hula looks so elegant and at ease!” Not joking either, that truly was my thought. I’d guess the other ladies there feel like lumps thinking how elegant everyone else looks. That leaves you with the only obvious answer: Have a drink, relax and enjoy as best you can! :)

Oh, I have gray. It's not even half, but it's still hard. I considered a pixie, I've worn that before.. But DH hates it. So 18-24months of growing out.

@Bronze.. it was just time for something new. And it stays a nice 70 degrees in here all the time..:)

I'm with yuh, kid! I'd rather spend the evening in a laundromat.

You feeling weird makes me think of Steven Wright’s joke: “When yogurt goes bad.... how can you tell?” ;)

I love love love Steven Wright. He is soooooo funny, and I've never heard him being nasty, hateful or obscene! :)

How do you get square pictures from a round lens?

“I went for an interview. Sat down and said ‘I will take this job if you can answer my question. I’m in my car. I travel at the speed of light. I turn on my headlights. Does anything happen?’”

Come to think of it, Steven Wright and @Bunnykiller have things in common. :D

Good Morning Army. A balmy 29*F to start our Sunday Morning. Our three weeks of Autumn are over.
Speaking of Steven Wright, is he the one who said "I got pulled over by a police office. He told me the speed limit was 55. I told him I wasn't;t planning on being out that long."

Have a Safe and Blessed Day :)
