Headlights went out on my truck. Drove home with a pizza in the dark. I'm sure David would think it was worth it but I must say I wasn't especially wild about it. I think the switch is shot. Got me another repair job but with weekend/holiday I probably can't get the part till middle of next week. Looks like I'm a daytime driver till then.

I'm hoping so. We're just getting set up with them right now.
Fran best of luck with this chapter.

My next career move will be hospice. I hope you are blessed with the most kindest of nurses. Prayers are with you.

Can get a bit dicey with no lights..............
Don’t you know it! More afraid someone wont see me. Had my flashers on so that helped.

Just ordered a new switch for $53. Probably wont get it till late next week. Oh well.

I'm guessing you did check for other causes?
Not really. The switch had been sticking the last several weeks. Also there was a few times over the last few months the lights would not go on but a wiggle of the switch would turn them on. Pretty sure signs the switch was going. I was actually going to change it out sometime next month. I was dragging my feet because I’m tired of fixing stuff. But I was warned.

That would be it then. We all know about putting something off that we should take care of..;)

Yep. Don’t have a choice. Of course we just passed the shortest day of the year. Is there any other time of the year when the headlights should quit working? :)

Timing about as ideal as my water heater was. :)

Winter really is the time for headlights to crap out. Sundown curfew should be fun. Next pizza needs to be delivery! Here’s to this being your last repair job for a good long time.

Last time I put off a repair (idler pulley) I ended up broke down near Yemassee, SC. Ever hear of Yemassee, SC? Neither did I. Let’s just say I was glad I had my revolver stashed in my truck. :)

I woke up in the middle of the night. Standard procedure for me. :)

Reminds me of Bobby (aka, bivie RIP) who claimed his tranny wouldn't work because he forgot to check his turn signal fluid.
