So I have been interested in trying a juul for a long time , as I thought it would be nice on vacations. Because of its size and having little pods, I thought it would be ok for a week or so, and not having to bring my mods, juice bottles, etc away would be nifty. So I bought one on ecf and just tried it and it kind of sucks....I know its 50 mg nic, but the TH is way weaker then my 24mg regular juices and vapor production is pretty lame. I know it's a mtl device, but so are my tanks and I never thought of them being cloudy by any means....also the Virginia tobacco flavor is God awful especially compared to my hhv juices....I do think most would think it's pretty strong, because a lot of vapors use fairly low nic with massive af, so those vapors would probably choke on the juul, but I guess I just got too use to massive TH's, that vaping this juul honestly feels like sucking in air.....what was I thinking? My wife kind of likes it though and it was fairly cheap, but at 4 bucks for less then 1ml of juice, no way!!

pry open those pods, throw away the juul-juice and put in your own. you might like it after all then. given your strength of non-salt nics I can imagine it must feel like air to you (I would die coughing on 24mg non-salt juice, but I know that's what you're used to)
just stay on the pg-side of things. not using the juul for anything but air-travel nowadays, but for that I enjoy it big time (@100% pg)
For a more advanced pod-vape, try the lost vape orion (NOT the orion-q). it got dna-power innit and replay and I dig those for out-and-about alot these days (but make sure to use your own settings usings escribe; turn down warmth and boost and those pods will last you forever)

good luck

I believe it was 40 years old. They changed that to 50, I think before Obamacare got passed. I have had several of them done, and it was no picnic.
speaking of that. starting being an employee here in the US on Monday. Got my quote for health-insurance including spouse (who might not have a regular job until august) and whooohooo, steep prices.

I think it's 40 in good ole' Europe, but given my uncle's colon cancer I still want to do it when I turn 40 (in July). Still covered in Germany for now, but planning on quitting this (another $600 a month) asap. hmmm. still have to read the fine-print on my US health insurance

I agree on refillable being the way to go. I have an Innokin EQ. I’m surprised at the vapor production. It’s a subohm coil which might help. The cloud is not much smaller than my RTA produces. It lets me take a good long draw without shutting off. I think some pods do limit your draw. I’ve got HHV Serendipity in it at a slightly higher nic than my usual. The throat hit is less intense than I’m used to, but not by much.

How does one find such auctions?

Yep, steep prices with a steep co-pay. Don’t even get us started on that one! :)

I admit to surprise that you’re near 40. I had the idea you were closing in on 30. Don’t mind me though. Everyone is a youngster to me anymore, and 40 is a youngster.

bidfta.com - but they only have warehouses here in the midwest

You can get incredible deals. Got a DeLonghi Espresso maker for $5 that's listed @$180. It was missing one of the three filters, but apart from that it was new.
The LG UHD monitor I got was $7.50, listed @350. Turned out it was missing the mount screws and the power cord, but for that price I can get a ton of screws and cords :)

We'll see what the furniture is missing when we move into our apartment. The boxes looked good, just a little dinged up. So fingers crossed :)

Pickup is an adventure though. Warehouses are all around the area, you get in, they are cramped as hell and you oughta find your own stuff which can be quite the ordeal. Or fun, whatever way you wanna look at it :)

I'm not that young any more. Was just late at the getting married and settled party :) But thanks :D

Sigh...I really miss those deals here.....the big store outlets, discount/warehouse stores and getting furniture that I like. Over here, one family pretty much has a lock on all furnishings coming into Hawaii. There is another store but both seem to concentrates on "modern" or "Danish modern" - all sharp angles, mean, stingy use of padding, wood, springs, color of any sort, mean stingy arm rests, etc, and high costs for something we used to see in K-Mart's student dorm furnishings for under $50 just 10 years ago.

Morning.... Work called and asked if I wanted to stay home. Let's see it's Friday. It's going to snow till midday and our whole area is under some level of snow emergency. Duh!! But I will be going out. I got my letter from the TSA the other day so I can renew my CDL.

What age are they saying women should start getting mammograms? I thought it was 50 then they made it sooner. I know it’s 50 for the colonoscopy. Unless that’s changed too.

Nice to detect that stuff early.
Yes, it's 40..

Going to work OK Mission of Mercy today. It's a free dental day for the needy. This is my first time to go. Wishing I had a vape pod of some sort. You aren't supposed to bring anything in. Lozenges to the rescue.

Good morning, Army! :)

Sorry you didn't get to go to work today, David. I know you're all busted up about it.

Yup I truly am. Got about 6 inches of snow. Should stop by midday but I expect it'll take most of the day to get the roads cleaned. And going to be near 50 the next 5 days so good by snow.

Well, you soothed your curiosity bug anyway. What about those pods you can fill with your own juice?
Yes, I have one and am gonna try that...maybe putting in some DF will make it vapable

Thanks.....I'm not really sure why i have gravitated to massive TH intensity...i have been rebuilding for 7 years, started with genesis and 24mg, but in the 12 to 15 watt range with resistances in the 1.5 range, so I doubt the TH was as intense back then. Over the years , once the dna mods came out, I have upped my power to about 23 watts and resistances to .6ish . That, along with rayon has really increased the TH intensity and I just got use to it over time . I do vape less juice however, now about 2mls per day which is a good thing, but its definitely hard to vape any other vape variations. Anyways will try using my juice and will do it perhaps with a 50 /50 mix instead of my usual 60 or 70vg mixes. Also been eyeing the Orion, very nice looking set up. Thanks

I use unflavored and am a squonker. A couple of drips of DF in the atty works for me.

I did the same as you Diver. I was a very light vaper for several years. I'm talking 7-8 watts. I'm up to 13 on my Radius and 430 degrees on my DNA these days. I did recently drop from 18mg to 15mg nic but that has been in just the last few months. Not sure why the shift to a stronger vape but it happened.

As part of my education, the small amount that stuck, was statistics. The lecturer said, "In a world that operates at random any coincidence should be taken skeptically". I find this odd, here is a coincidence, but I, too (or is it I three), have increased my watts from 7 or 8 to 11 or 12 and run a coil around 0.7 or 0.8 Ohms.
I just ordered an 18 ml bottle of Legend 36 mg Nicotine to try. I use the HHV as a drop or two and then dilute it with a good Heather's Heavenly Squonk.

Does your unflavored have any nic in it?
