Pretty much what happened. I've been telling her for several days to go to a doctor. Our daughter has also been saying so, but Mamaw can be stubborn. Maybe waking up in a strange bed will make her think this over.

My FIL is going on 6 weeks of it, no hospitalization tho. He probably should have been put in, maybe he'd have kicked it sooner that way. Hope she improves quickly.
OK Mission of Mercy was quite an experience. I'll probably do it again next year because it's close to home, but I'll definitely be getting my own head light. Theirs were pretty worthless. All of the young hygienists have their own loupes/lights now. There wasn't a big push for us to get them when I was in school 15 years ago.
Anything from China ... One Month.
Unless, of course, the Chinese New Year falls in at about that time, then wait six weeks.
China is cheap. And slow. That's why some of us call it "The Slow Boat from China".
I've been waiting on a group buy from lost vape since right after Christmas. Now that the holidays are here I'm not expecting till March.

I’m glad she’s getting good care! And good luck with that laundry.
I’m betting those loupes/lights aren’t cheap. I know they aren’t in the print production world. And the outdoor headlamps we bought weren’t cheap either. That’s wonderful that Mission Of Mercy provided care like that. I’m sure it was gratifying for you to use your skills to benefit others like that! What a blessing!
Papaw, I hate to hear the wife has pneumonia. My mom had pneumonia this winter as well. She didn't have the flu. She did have a constant running nose though. Pneumonia is no picnic. Even when you are released from the hospital, it still takes your lungs a while to get back to where they were.
Anyway, I hope Mamaw makes a full and speedy recovery. I have heard if you get pneumonia once, your chances are higher for another case of it later. So next time she is sick, remind her of that. That may prompt her to get it checked out. Lots of illness going around for different reasons, it seems. Let your food be your medicine, which will help protect you from some of this mess going around. I keep a fingertip pulse oximeter here, since I have had pneumonia more than once. If I feel like my breathing is taking a downturn, I check to see what my oxygen level is doing. If it is lower than normal, I am definitely going to get it checked out pronto.

Unfortunately, China is already in New Year holiday mode, and things are unlikely to get going again till the 15th. Let's hope it's because the tracker just hasn't been updated, though I find that when I order from China direct, it gets to the US fairly quickly and then sits in California for two weeks before moving.
