Opinionated, I did not see whatever it was...besides the puppy picture.

LA, I had an oriental dish once many many years ago. It was Orange Beef I think. I have had that dinner many times in the past, with no issues. Then one time and one time only they threw in a pepper that took my breath completely away. I mean it was like all of the air was sucked out of me, and I could not get fresh air to come back in. I literally thought I was going to die. To this day I have no idea what that pepper was. It is possible that pepper went into my air pipe. When I could finally breath again, I drank a bunch of tea. Now I know that the liquids don't do as well as a piece of bread or something. At least I heard that. The weird thing about that Orange Beef was, only one pepper burned that hot. The rest of them were fine. I think a rogue pepper fell in or had help, and they were laughing themselves to death there in the kitchen area.

I had a pepperincini ( sp?) the yellow one thats supposed to be mild almost more pickle than pepper... but it rivaled even more so the potent japalenos I make... caught me off guard and choked for several seconds before I could breathe properly...

kkay, I've heard the best thing to soothe the burning of a hot pepper is to drink milk. That's what the guys do on TV on those eating shows like Man vs. Food.

what amazes me is that these people ( and everyone else) know that the pepper is HOT and WILL cause discomfort ( or even severe pain) but yet still go ahead and pop that beastie into their mouth...

its kinda like knowing that slamming a car door on your fingers will hurt and doing it anyway just to see how much it will hurt... o_O

I love banana peppers. If you plant them close to jalapeno though, it warms them up. The bigger they get, the hotter they get. Maybe it was just my soil. I used to only plant Tam jalapeno there for a while, as they are more mild, and it was easier for the kids to eat. My daughter hates hot peppers, but my son loves them. The Tam jalapeno used to be found easily around here, but now I rarely see them for sale. Also we used to get Sweet 100 tomatoes, and the first ones they came out with were so tasty! The first two years or so that I planted them, they were super sweet. My dad's garden used the same plants but his were not nearly as good as mine. Later I kept planting them, and they were never that good again. I think somebody was tinkering with them, as they are a hybrid if I remember right.

I like warm peppers, but not five alarm fire peppers. I would like to plant some tobasco and cayenne. I never see the tobasco pepper plants here. I like them in the bottle soaked in vinegar. I'd rather make my own, and it is cheaper. I also like fresh cucumber that has marinated in vinegar for at least 24 hours. The weather has been so bad here, I have given up growing vegetables. (for now) It is either too wet, or a drought with too much heat. City water does not make plants thrive without rain too. Last year we skipped from winter to summer. Your plants can't get a good root system, and they will wilt in that kind of heat. Once the heat hits here, most tomatoes don't do worth a flip. However the cherry tomatoes seem to still do well, as long as you water them. What works here, may not work in other areas. I am just speaking from my perspective.

I got the Vapefly Galaxy built and on my squonker. That baby is kind of a difficult build, getting the wick into the holes leading from the deck into the tank. But when finished it is a good leak free vape. The benefit to me of this over an Entheon in that it will be very difficult to get a dry hit for my frequent failure to squonk when I get concentrating on other things. Good buy, good recommendation, thanks Papaw.
