My beloved Logitech solar keyboard has no caps lock LED. It’s a 2011 or 2012 model. The one thing I don’t like about it. Some recent Win 10 update finally works with it. Startled me at first. “CAPS LOCK ON” appears for a few seconds, then fades away. And guess what? 9 out of 10 times I forget and start typing and it’s all in caps.

My new-ish laptop has no LED for caps lock either. Drives me crazy.

Only my good old MacBook Air from 2011 still has that LED.
That caps lock drives me nuts! We all share computers at work and one gal does everything in all caps. Then I come along to use that keyboard and I can’t login bc my password isn’t an all caps PW. Then after 3 tries I get locked out and it really messes with my day :)

It’ll be the easiest fiddling you do! One caution though is that it might not be charged when you open it. Mine was, but not fully. Don’t forget to let the pod sit upright after you fill it the first time to soak the wick. 3 - 5 minutes should do it.
I’ll pull it out tomorrow then and get it set up and charged.

Really rough day at work. One of my longtime colleagues passed away this morning, she was our educator and fought a long hard battle with ovarian cancer. Lots of tears. But at least she’s no longer in pain.

The nonworking "S" key is on my keyboard at work. I typed this post from my home computer.

And, yes, I have multiple keyboards available to me at work. But the one that is wonky is a keyboard I bought years ago and it just feels more natural to me than the new ones. Like everything else in this world, the newer keyboards have been cheapened up to disposable status.

Did you know that some of the new keyboards don't have a CAPS LOCK light or indicator on them? Yep, that notification is controlled by software, which doesn't work with Windows 10. It's maddening. A 5 cent LED that's been on keyboards since the beginning of time.

Check Ebay for a replacement. Is it a standard keyboard or laptop keyboard? If it'f the latter it'f the eafieft thing to take the old one off and hook up the new one. Yef! Even I have actually done thif.

Oh, April. I’m so sorry.

I still have a keyboard from the late 80's... its actually has a steel plate in it and weighs about 6 lbs... it came with my 486/33 computer... reminds me of when cars had real metal bumpers ;)

I just ran across a band aid box made of metal. Thought it was cool.

Doing my taxes the old fashioned way. The IRS has downloadable, PDF, fillable forms. So I’m using those and will snail mail my returns. I’ve tired of paying the online tax filing joints. They’ve become ridiculously expensive. And it’s no more work to do them “by hand”. Plus it’s easier this year because the standard deduction has doubled and rendered itemizing unnecessary (for me). The state form here is a cinch too. Screw TurboTax and TaxAct!! I’ll keep my money, thank you very much.
