Ive used mine once... just now to see if a lite lit up... and it did :)

Just so you know, not every chemo treatment is alike. Some chemo drugs don't make you loose your hair at all, so do wait and talk to your doctor about the side affects of the specific drugs you will be on, if you get to that point - before doing anything drastic with your hair.
True. The usual chemo is Taxol that is used in prevention for recurrence. I haven’t found anyone that hasn’t lost their hair with Taxol. I’ll cross that road when and if I get to it. I won’t do anything drastic until I know for sure it’s falling out (and still I remain optimistic that I won’t need it).

I appreciate the reminder though!

the wifey did talk to her Dr. ... and the expected results were total hair loss "everywhere" for the level of breast cancer she had... pretty much total cell ( reproduction) growth would be halted ( entire body) for the duration of the chemo... which included hair growth. The thing she despised the most was the finger/toe nail beds turning "black"...

@Pappy you wanna weigh in on the number lock?

Yes! I’m curious to hear Pappy’s thoughts in this matter.

I use this key constantly and always locked. Code uses numbers and when I reach for that separate number keypad on my keyboard, I need it to yield numbers.

num lock... the feeling one gets after sitting on the pottie too long.. the legs go num and lock up.. :)

I’m glad I had no liquid in my mouth when I read this!

I had some catching up to do on here. I've been sick still, but feel better than yesterday. The coughing has kept me up at night. I could've taken cough medicine, but I wanted to cough to clear my system out. It has been very warm here, but the nights have been decent.

no reason to stay out O... the wifey had "stage 3" breast cancer and required the "tuff stuff" to take care of it... chemo treatment is a "personal thing" its different for each person depending on their "chemistry", level of cancer, and healing rates. Basically its custom made for each person, and it changes drastically during the treatments. Levels of different chemos are adjusted as time goes on to keep the "numbers" proper. Some people require just enuf to thwart the growth just enuf to stop it while others need a full blown blast that pretty much anihalates the body to a total shutdown of all cellular regrowth.
