Dang! With the shipping processor issues, your order might have shipped but you didn’t get an email notice. If you’d like me to check, you can PM me your order number and I’ll look it up.

Oh that's ok - I don't normally stalk the mailman
Our mail has come and gone today so it will be next week sometime :)

Thanks for all the sweet words and optimistic likes :)

I went ahead and just shaved my head, feels so much better and have a cute little scarf wrap on my head. It’s funny how ginormous my glasses look since there’s no hair to balance them out. And my sun hat is really loose!

Taking a little nap before the movie.

@LAwaters very cool story about Sir Elton. I’ve been binging on listening to interviews with him so I’m well versed on his life before I see the movie.

A friend of my, great lawyer, did the same. She shaved her head, she was pleased, I thought it was great, she also used a scarf. Best to you. She was a hoot in court the first time she came. We loved it.

I’m hanging in there. Pretty darn miserable with side effects. Well on my way to bald, I’ll get a few comfortable hours here and there, but overall this is pure awful.

However... my girls are so sweet and taking such good care of me. I also lined up friends to stop by everyday (told them just to come over and not give me a choice), gets me out of my misery and into theirs which helps a ton. Spending a lot of time in prayer and meditation in my back yard and I find so much peace in that.

Have a great weekend everyone. I’m planning to see Rocketman today with the girls. Heard it’s good and I love Elton John.

yes.... its a tuff one to deal with, but there is some re-dem tion ( sorry for the spelling) in the end... the wifey sez hang in there, its a life changing period and its difficult to deal with the changes but eventually it will become better... look to the future of being cancer free with the current BS that you have to deal with now.... and BTW the wifey sez if you need to talk, she is willing to do that... but you need to contact me via PM to get her phone # since you have yours turned off... and personally I wish you the best MS hang in there... give it a thought and a consideration... the wifey has more to talk to you than I can... Im just a second hand observer to the real effects of what occurs.... watching the wifey go thru what she did, I wish she had someone to talk to with experience to the whole situation.... knowledge is power to overcome the fears....

the wifey had hers shaved in the very beginning, the one thing she fussed about was the loss of tiny short hairs being an issue of getting in the eyes, the solution, a silk head scarf and lots of "washing" to keep the short hairs from being an issue... and remember... mohawk LED wigs are fun ;)

Anyways, I've been chatting on Fran's DIY thread lately. Broke out the old ProVari P3 / Achilles combo to try a few new (to me) flavors. After six years of REOS, a ProVari still feels thin and clumsy. I guess it's just whatever you are used to.

Have a Safe and Blessed Day :)

Y’all are working way too hard. Sheesh!

Craig, is your heavy workload weather related repairs, or just a busy season?
On call every 4th week, but we lost someone to a transfer a few weeks ago, so I took his on call as well.
I'm being groomed for fiber work so have to be on site for all fiber damages in my area as well as extended. Had three cell towers down this week on Tuesday which caused the full day of work. Just two more days and I'm finally back to only am 8 hour day for a few weeks. Absolutely can't wait!!!

Toilet project ovuh! New flappers on all three thrones. Changed upstairs fill valve using the three year old fill valve from the powder room that turned out to be working fine (I had unnecessarily replaced it as my first stab at fixing the powder room can). Was taking 6-7 minutes to fill the tank upstairs now it's 1-1/4 mins. Everything works, everything is adjusted. DONE!

Lesson: NEVER EVER EVER use drop-in toilet cleaning piss pucks in your tanks. There are other cleaning systems that work without destroying valve parts.

I confess I've been using the pucks for years.. I use the ones that are bleach only. None the blue ones. Yes I've replace the flapper every couples years and I think I've replaced the guts twice. But I still use them because they work the best for keeping the bowl that I've found...

I think the chlorine is rougher on the rubber parts than the bleach. Or maybe the combo of the two. The pucks do work to be sure. So does the Kaboom cleaning system (or similar style brands) that dumps the stuff in the bowl instead of the tank. I've been using the pucks only a year or year and a half and in that time it killed the flapper and seals. Warps/hardens the flappers and disintegrates the seals (had pieces of seal laying in the tank). The pucks I used had both chlorine and bleach in them. The water here is real hard. Makes for cleaning the bowl a mega hassle without the cleaners.
