Last night as we all gathered around I broke down and ordered a PPV movie from DirectTV. The ladies insisted on 'Spy' starring the fat chick (McCarty ?). It was hilarious. In one scene, she confronts a possible suspect. But before she can question him they fight, and she kicks him in the groin, stabs him with his own knife, throws him off a balcony and onto a protruding spear-like object, sees the blood and vomits on him from five stories up, then drops his knife which lands directly into the center of his chest. All by accident, of course.
You guys are not going crazy, it's was just wishful thinking that Papaw was being extravagant plus it's been a while since I had 100ml bottles.
EDIT to add: Don't forget I'm one manly man in a house full of womanly women. There's 5 of them now!

Good Morning Army. Another year winds down. As we sit in the Carolinas, complaining about warm weather (yes, there are people here that wonder where the Seasons went) another year has come and gone. My two week vacation is half over, and other than Christmas I have accomplished squat. nothing. nada. But, then again, No airline delays, lost luggage, Interstate Traffic (I get enough of that at work). No Auntie Who, strange beds, bad food.

We were very blessed last night. As you may have heard we had a bunch of tornados in the Dallas area last night and the death toll is at 11 and climbing right now.
The worst of the storm just barely missed our house by 3 or 4 miles, and the tornado that killed at least 8 people at I-30 and the George Bush tollway just missed my office by a couple of miles.

No, nobody has basements or cellars here. You just have to go hide in an interior room with no windows, such as a bathroom or closet. We had a plan in place just in case it got any closer.
If I ever build another house, I'm going to build a safe room in it.
We have had some terrible weather here in Texas. It has just been weird. I have family in Dallas. Glad you are okay Pappy. They had one or two tornadoes in Lindale too. Plus one touched down in Harrison County too, NE of Marshall. 6 in the Dallas area, one in Sulpher Springs, one in Emory, and another in Eustace. So that would bring it to 11 that I have heard of, I believe. We have tornado warnings, and flood warnings too. Several roads are flooding. My backyard has water way up in it. I will be relieved when it quits raining. I never remember having tornadoes this time of year, right in the holidays.
I have been on the phone a large proportion of the day. That is not usual for me. But some people you have to communicate with over the holidays, and play catch up. I watched the last episode of Helix last night, from Season 2. I thought Season 2 was pretty good for the most part. It has some rough stuff at times on it though. (downright freaky too, and not in a good way) Anyone else watched it?
