Coming from a Commercial Fishing family, we always take the ashes out on a boat and spread them across the water. Just my :2c:

That is part of the plan, They divided the remains up into three small earns and one large. The large one will be taken to Hua Hin Beach and sent to sea. Of the other 3, one will be at Sue's oldest sister's house the other two one will be at the family pagoda at a temple near by. The last will be with a monk, I think.

Yeah, but DavidOH's gorgeous photos are smaller! :(

They look ok to me. Even with this dark screen. Which is taking a while to get used to.

EDIT: Put it back to "ECF" theme. Ahhhhhhhh, that's better! David's pictures are big again! ;)

Yup, I never saw them change... ;)

Woke up to a balmy 3° yay. Even the dog does her business and runs back inside
OOh, that''s cold!!! I would do the same.

Good Morning Army. Running a little late as I turned off the Alarm and rolled back over this morning. Hopefully, these freezing temperatures (21*F now) will go away later today. By weekend we should be back into the mid 50's for daytime highs. Still cold for now tho..

Have a Safe and Blessed Day :)

Morning army. Busy busy day again (as usual anymore.) Painted my sons dresser, so moving furniture today and hopefully starting on the next one as well to become a TV stand. Can't afford new furniture when its needed so we find sad discards for free and I make them pretty again. Too bad couches can't be fixed as easily, or at least as cheaply.

Have you tried painting the couch?

Evening Army!

Right after Tiffanie and her aunt got here they both came down with bad sore throats, coughs and fever. Must have been one of those bugs they don't have in the US. Now this morning I woke with congestion and cough. UGH. Just what I need. Decided to wait till tomorrow to see how I feel before making a dash to the pharmacist for some antibiotics.

Surprisingly it can be done, fabric medium, fabric spray paints, or can be reupholstered. The hard/expensive part is dealing with broken down support system
Yes, it can! Have you looked at the Sally Army, Craigs list or other thrift stores lately? They sometimes carry pretty decent furniture. Of course I know it isn't ideal, but you might come across something that would work.

Yeah we don't buy any soft items used (except clothes occasionally because they can be washed). Too many bed bugs in Ohio. At least wood and stuff I can clean really well
