David is due home any minute. Pizza rolls n beer. My friend told me today how odd it was how much she liked pizza rolls when she was young and how nasty they are now. David is still young. :)

Air Fryer Pizza Rolls - perfection.

Good morning Arm. Looks like a wet one here today. We need it. We're dry as a bone.

Send some this way.
Scrapple, Eggs and Toast for breakfast. No more fast food biscuit or truck stop sausage on a bun.
Retirement is good.

Another streaming option can come from your local library if they offer Hoopla. You can watch some movies and older tv shows through the Hoopla app on Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV and phones or tablets.

My friend has a $1500 antenna on her roof here that connects directly to her new Sony 4K tv. She gets sports, news and all that through the antenna. That’s another option to consider.

The Roku channel itself is quite good - if you have a Roku there is no additional cost.

I've been trying Roku, Tubi and the basic Hulu. Plenty of old movies, but she wants local channels too.
In Denver, YouTube TV has most of the local network channels (ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, PBS), but they are in a similar arrangement as the cable companies as far as paying for the local guys (or not). They haven't picked up all of the local channels, so YMMV.

I have used an antenna, unsuccessfully due to trees, distance and hills. So, I go to HULU for locals, the expensive option. I start it when football season starts and end when football is over. That also corresponds to the weather. As it gets cold, damp and dark I semi-hibernate. In football season on Saturday and Sunday, Mrs CMD looks at me askance and she social distances from me.

Surprised she doesn't social distance M-F too. :)

One additional note on streaming:
I tried using my VPN on my router. It worked - too well. However, some of those streamers are location sensitive, masking your location can cause trouble. I don't remember which one the VPN just shut it down. I am back to VPN on computers and the phone only.

I looked at that after reading your comment. I think I will give that a try, it is very comprehensive for our area and includes NFL Network without an extra charge. It offers the Lexington version of CBS and the 'mountain' version - these are separate stations here, that is a real plus news wise. It has a nice long trial period.

You know, before we went to all digital signal, I could get Louisville and Lexington stations clear as a bell. Louisville is about one hundred miles away, if I was a crow and Lexington is about fifty. With the digital, I can only get two Lexington stations and those only under perfect clear and windless conditions.
Great for the cities, less than helpful for those of us who socially distance by miles not feet.

Oh...I get it now. I was slow on the up take; that does put a different light on my choice. One more time...I thank the General.
Sad thing is there are few choices that make it near impossible not to find something wrong with whatever choice we make. It's called dependency.

I agree, if politics rules every decision I make then I would subscribe to no streaming service.
