Gotts love it when a project turns out as planned. Even if the extra work makes it worth it.
Totally agree. I get accused of overbuilding. It’s true many times. Today it wasn’t. There was (no exaggeration) a 6-foot wide river cascading through the woods. It shaved off the end of my trench but did not stop my drains from working. That was a once in 10+ year storm. I have a litte cleanup to do but after that monsoon I don’t mind.

Incredible timing for that trench work you did. Someone was looking out for you — besides you, of course. I do know someone prays for you. :)

One new to me reason to hate Microsoft. Mrs CMD's computer motherboard fried and died. She went and got another. I went to install LibreOffice because MS Office is too, too everything expensive, cumbersome, intrusive and it financially helps MicroSoft. There is now an "S" mode that prohibits one from installing unapproved software, for her safety.
After jumping through the dictated hoops, I got it installed. It was not difficult to do but I do hate being under the thumb whether it be tech, government or the woke. Come to think of it these are the Siamese triplets of our life.

We do what our tech lords tell us to do.

Yes, it was one small step closer to Linux for a man, hopefully a giant leap for mankind. I get closer and closer to making the leap, completely.

An oldie that’s now a staple in my food rotation. This is a sourdough pan bread with shaved Parmesan, garlic powder and a bit of smoked paprika.

I came up with this recipe as a way to use my daily discard amount from my sourdough. Instead of throwing it away, I add a bit of flour and water to get it lively and rising again. Instead of trash, it’s a great lunch or snack.

So I'm down to 200ml of DF. I'm not cracking those open just yet. I have officially switched to a DIY brew full time. I have tweaked it and tweaked it and got it to an acceptable level to vape all day. I know I can tweak it some more and improve on it. I basically need one more minor top note and then it's just proportioning after that. I have three different NETs in the brew along with some other ingredients. The thing I am most happy about is I found that finish similar to DF. It's kind of a subtle alcoholish-like smack that comes at the end of the exhale. It's kind of an aged sensation. It's a feel as much as it is a flavor. It always set DF apart from other vapes. And with that, I now know what one of the ingredients (maybe two) that were in DF. But I aint talkin'. :)

If you refuse to share the info, please have the decency to not flaunt your unshared knowledge before us swine. As I nurse the last three hundred ml's of super high nic/extra shot of flavor stored carefully in the refrigerator hoping to stretch it to infinity and beyond (or the five or so years I have left).

    Now thank looks good.

Thanks, Fran. I always hated the daily throwaway part of sourdough starter. When we had those shortages at the start of the pandemic, it was all the motivation I needed.

There’s a sweet version too using cinnamon and apples sautéed in butter. But the wet ingredients don’t work as well as the dry ones do.

I can attest to your skills creating great vape flavors. Well done!

Afternoon.... The new antenna was here when I got home last night. Spent awhile today with a plastic coat hanger and a torch making a hanger instead of using the stick-on squares it came with. I put it in the window behind the TV about 12 inch's down from the ceiling. The rabbits ears found 28 stations. A lot of which weren't watchable. The new antenna found 41 stations with the amp set to long range. After removing the stations that were doubled or I'd read a book before I'd ever watch it. (I don't speak Spanish and Religious channels aren't my thing either.) I ended up with 30. A few don't come in very good for whatever reason but most are very clear. The cable is thin enough and long enough that I could run it though the window and lay it on the roof with a brick on it to keep it in place. I may try that at some point just to see what it does but not today. It's only a back up in case my internet goes down. And if that happens all I have to do is plug in the amp and I'm good to go. It can be powered by the USB port on the TV or the wall adapter. I see no reason the have it powered if I'm not using it. It's working well enough to justify the $29 cost to me.:)

That’s too bad. Cinnamon and Apples sounds good too.

This makes me rethink sharing food pics. Except I’m willing to share the recipe. :D

Well, I aint done yet. Still months of work ahead of me so just ignore me. If I recall, you add very little DF to your unflavored, no?
