Afternoon.. Went to the Doctor this morning. My BP is still up a little. So he added another med to take for the next 6weeks or so then I'll go back to check it again. My functional capacity exam took five hours. If I understood the therapist I'm on the low side of what I can do. Which means I can't do the job I have been doing.. So maybe full retirement. I'll wait for the report to get to the Doctor and see what he says. For now I'm going to let the system play out.

The leaves have just started here. Hasn't been cold enough to really get them changing.

Forecast says we are headed back to the 90’s over the next week. Still getting zucchini so I made a basic loaf. ‘Twas good!

Maybe... I think it depends on what the doctor says. I'd likely have to Lawyer up for it.. The therapist said it would take him about 4 hours to write up the report. So I'll wait till next week to see it they call to move my appointment up instead of waiting till DEC. 1st. Or I may call them..

Afternoon.. Really nice out today. Mid 70s with a nice breeze.. Calling for rain tonight and tomorrow. So I mowed the yard and with a little luck I won't have to do it again till spring.
Replace the mower with the snow shovels.

We have 92, then 93, then 90 for the next three days. I’m not liking that at all either. Blech.
I could deal with a high in the low 90's. Mostly because at our altitude, we cool down quickly, especially with our usual clear skies.

It would be nice then. Here it sits on us like an oppressive weight that barely eases at night. There’s that term they use: heat dome. It really does feel like a dome pressing down.

Hey all. Been a bit busy of late. No one happy with their weather of late. I am. 70 with no humidity, cool evenings. Love it!

Another movie recommendation in the event you haven’t seen it. No Country for Old Men. Perfect cast. Perfect acting. Very well made movie. And original. Not a sequel, prequel, take off, comic book stuff, special effects, etc. Real dialogue, real story. Great creep in the story. Made 15ish years ago.

I’m really glad you’re getting good weather. That’s the fall weather I remember. At least our temps will head back to normal around Sunday. I hope so. I have garden bed prep to do! :)

That fits one of ours perfectly . Very large female tuxedo with a never ending appetite . She yowls outside my bedroom door the second she hears me move . The end result is me chasing her with a spray bottle in to kitty prison , a room with a water bowl and a litterbox . This scenario has played out a couple of hundred times , it's pretty much every day . The result is always the same , she gets doused and locked up . I would have no peace to drink a cup of coffee otherwise . She complains loudly when she gets sprayed but she never learns , literally the most stubborn animal I've ever dealt with . She's lucky that I can't catch her .... with the flyswatter in this house , too much room for her to escape .
