It does go on sale! My friend paid $4.49 for that 8+ oz package. She got it at Bristol Farms, which is an upscale market like Whole Foods but smaller.
Couldn’t agree more! The French serve bread with butter sliced so thick it’s like a piece of cheese. And they laugh at us silly Americans who think butter will kill us just ‘cuz the FDA and medical establishment says so.
That hurts my heart! And it’s why I couldn’t never go Keto. I must have bread, pasta… even fruits and veg! My Keto friend doesn’t eat much fruit or veg.
I know Pops is watching his Ravens in the AFC Championship. I’m rooting for the Ravens too. Not because I have anything against the Chiefs but I am ready for new teams in the Superbowl and I have tired of the Taylor Swift hype.
I know nothing about the games but long ago grew tired of her hype. She grew up near where I lived in PA. She looks and acts like so many females from there. Her eyes have that same quality of “mean” too. (No offense to her fans here.)
Evening.... Another day of rain. We haven't had any sunshine for awhile. But at least it's been in the 40s. I got a Keurig Select K80 coffee maker. Found it at the thrift store for $40. Not boxed but I could tell it's never been used. It turned on when I plugged it in at the store so I bought it. Ordered some filters and reusable pods from Amazon. I can use it when I get those in. Not paying for the ready filled pods. They cost too much...
She doesn’t impact me one way or another but the hype is out of control. I give her credit for not doing what Hannah Montana did by going trashy. Swift just stuck with boyfriend bashing but man bashing has been going on for decades now. Kinda bounces off of me anymore.

Not full keto, but unfortunately gluten free since last April. The 90 second keto bread recipe is a joke, more like a stupid almond puck. Yuck! And yet I still make one once in a while...
Only managed to find edible gluten free bread from 2 restaurants, one that is very expensive so can't go there very often, the other from a local cafe just up the street that had to temporarily close a week ago until their new location is ready (new landlords at old location hiked the rent too much). Them closing has me kinda depressed, I mean, the one place I could have a burger and eat it like a real person instead of just eating the meat with a fork. Have an affordable GF flour blend, have not had a single bread recipe turn out edible. I used to bake all of our breads. Have managed to make a passable pizza crust. Sweets turn out good at least. A few days before Thanksgiving my son, I think he was joking, but he said something towards the effect of, if I was dead at least he and his dad could have real food again. Sucks.
For the model I found the lowest I could find was $110 and the normal was $150. My Amazon order for supplies was $46. But I would buy those even if I bought a new one at a store.
That does suck. I’m sorry because I know that’s rough to be gluten-free when you really don’t want to be. My first job was in a health food store and I tried lots of things I’d never heard of like tofu. We also sold gluten-free bread, so I tried that. After that I was extra nice to our regular customers who came in for that and other GF products. Back then they were hard to find. Hang in there!

Wow, I feel for you. My youngest son lived with me for awhile a few years ago and was gluten free. That was costly, buying gf stuff. I think I have found a recipe to make good bread but it isn't gf so won't work for you. I agree about the 90 sec bread, worst thing ever. If you can stand an eggy taste, there is a milk bread recipe that uses a lot of egg whites and it is pretty good. I just don't care for eggy tasting stuff.

Thanks. Bookmarked and will try some of them sometime. I don't mind eggs, which is a good thing I guess considering I seem to be eating more of them than ever. I have found some mug cake type recipes that just have water in them. Try them, gross. Sub an egg for the water and it is much better. I think some people think gluten free equals vegan. Everything I have tried or someone has bought for me with that vegan label on it is disgusting. No wonder all the vegans I've ever been around have been rather unpleasant folks-their food is terrible! I would be a jerk too, lol. If any vegans on here, well, not gonna apologize, just me being me...take me or leave me, I really don't care much anymore. The world would be a much better place if more people got over themselves and less people apologized for being honest.
Evening... It was in the 40s today with some much needed sunshine. Looks like it's going to stay that way for awhile.. My Keurig stuff came yesterday. It's working fine. Just a small issue. The paper filters I bought don't match the little k cups. There isn't a hole in the top for the needle thing in the lid. So I have to cut a small opening in it. Not really a big deal when I'm getting four of them ready in the evening.
