Don't forget standing up at the top of the big hill !:)

if you go on the Space mountain ride, be sure to get the very front seat.... just in case someone decides to get "ill"... you wont get suprised...

I have no clue what these two are talking about... I am trying to help!

good morning/afternoon all - TGIF and I'm done for the day :D

Made it back to LA today in just over 5 hrs with a stop for dinner in there! That's pretty good time. Sad to leave our home in Vegas, but we plan to get back there soon. I have the second procedure on Monday, and travel won't be comfy for a few weeks. It's on my mid-thigh. Sitting might hurt for a bit. It will be an area about the size of a large lemon or a small orange. But I'm not gonna think about that.

good luck with that procedure.

and good fun on that rollercoaster :)

I've been previewing a beta release of Linux Mint Cinnamon 18 , absolutely beautiful OS , it's got dark themes that are much easier on my old eyes , I have ECF set to dark for that reason . The beta of Cinnamon 18 is running great on this old computer , I had trouble running the earlier version on this machine . If the stable release runs as well I'll be switching over to Cinnamon .

Yay! I'm back to hen pecking! Got a new wireless Apple keyboard today. Man these things are weird! They're about 7 inches shorter than the original one because it doesn't have a num pad and some of the function keys like page up, page down, Home, End. And the Arrow keys are now under the right hand shift key. Gonna take some time getting used to...

One good thing is that it has both English and Thai on the keys (not shown in pic). I won't have to open up anything else to type Thai.

Good Morning Army. It is supposed to be oppressively hot here the next couple of days. No rain in the forecast, no clouds, just southern summer sunshine. The ground will be super heated by Tuesday. I really don't see how retic and BK live in this kind of heat. But they probably think people who live in Maine and Montana are insane.
Hula has the right idea. Now if I could just win that Powerball....

Have a Safe and Blessed Day :)

Garden is watered, pulled weeds from Carrots. Most of the carrots I pulled were deformed. The Danver's Half Long is supposed to be good for clay soils, but they are not penetrating my soil. Potatoes are done and dug up. Late frost may have stunted their growth, but I still managed half a basket (maybe five pounds) from a sixteen foot row. I've already told Mamaw this will probably be my last garden. Between age/ arthritis/ work schedule it is just getting to be too much. I could improve my yields if I had the time to dedicate to the efforts, but I do not. Looks like my thirty year hobby is winding down.

Gardens are a ton of work Pop. I know most people do them for fun more than anything else. But it's not fun when you ache doing it. Time to hang up the shovel.

    Good morning Army!
