Morning.... The rain is done for a few days.. Cloudy right now but should clear up this afternoon. Yard might dry out enough to mow tomorrow. Time to get shopping done. first stop Menards. They have a 20v trimmer for $60. Cheapest I can find without going corded.

It's raining too hard so I'll just stay here and I can still see out.

I can't wait. Although I told my son last night I'm such a pushover now. I never let my (late) lab on the furniture/beds. I woke up from a short nap yesterday and Nelli was on the couch napping, then Major joined in later..
Future:
GD: Bibi, lets make a swimming pool inside!
me (Bibi): Sure!
:lol::lol::lol:
Like playing with dolls again, huh?

I got a Harbor Freight (Bauer) for $50 but that's without the battery.

That's the way all the stores try to get you. $50 for the tool and $50 for the battery... This Yardworks brand (couldn't find anything on it) came with a 2.0Ah battery. It claims almost 30 mins of run time after the battery has a few charging cycles on it. No matter I only need it for 10 or 15 mins every couple weeks or so..

Ten or fifteen minutes every two weeks, the battery and I can be considered a matched set.

    Well I got Scruffys area done. The trimmer isn't the most powerful I could have bought. But I couldn't justify $100 plus for one. Plus the grass was high. I do it again after the grass stands back up.

    Yep, don’t need to spend big bucks for such little need.

    I want to get a battery powered weed eater. I just haven't researched them yet. Our gas one is heavy and I hate pull starting it.
    I lost the kids' dogs briefly today. I was just about to panic, had called my other son when they showed back up.
    Ticks are terrible here. The dogs have been treated so they don't get bitten, but they end up on me instead. I hate bugs of any kind, gives me the creeps.
    I left the French door open for a while last night for the dogs, hummingbird flew in. That was a 30 minute process getting it out. It finally wore itself out and I caught it in a towel. It flew away as soon as I set it on the widow ledge outside.
