We've had incredible rainfall. A patient told me he's keeping track (in his rain gauge) and he's got 21 inches for the year so far. But it overflowed once so maybe a little more than that. I haven't searched for the norm, or the official totals but it sure seems more than normal. But, heat and humidity started today and will stay a while..

It would be nice if that rainfall could be more evenly distributed! We are in the mid-90’s the last few days and it’ll stay for at least another week. Today was our friend’s birthday and I made her Firecracker Salmon and a blueberry galette. Good eatin.
Speaking of Firecracker Salmon, if any of you love Huy Fong sriracha sauce, you may want to buy a bottle. They won’t be making any more until after the fall crop of chilies (if it’s a good crop). A major supplier had a failed spring crop due to bad weather conditions. There’s already price gouging on it. A WalMart seller is listing a 17 oz bottle for $52.64.
I gotta get a recipe and make my own!

A nice little payoff today - enjoyed the first scrumptious cherry tomato! It was only one, but oh! The flavor! And the jalapeño flowered. Peppers aren’t far behind.

I once had a cat that was always serious, didn't play with toys etc. I gave her fresh catnip from the garden and she went wild, rolled in until she was soaking wet. So silly and funny looking.
David, have you heard anything about a def fluid shortage? Idk if what I read is true or not but had DH stock up on it. His old work truck doesn't use it, but his newer truck does.
